No let up here for the Tigers especially in Columbia.
Longhorns are up next for the Tigers & coach Pinkel will want to be hitting on all cylinders going into that contest.
Cowboys lack the defense to keep this potent offense off the board enough for them to cover.

wow this line is perfectly set up for all the squares to pick missouri... wow... i mean wow... if the line doesnt move to -14 from -13.5 then i would say the only play is to pick oklahoma state... plz line dont move to -14... and plz public keep dumping money on missouri...

If I didn't know any better, I say Oklahoma St is trying to outscore their opponents, rather than stopping them. It just so happens, that they get some good stops and turnovers, at the right time.

They're defense is horrible. They play a bend-don't-break defense, and pray they make a key stop. Well, let me tell you, the Denver Broncos tried that for the last few years, and against a junk team with an average QB, it works great. But against the likes of Peyton Manning and other elite QBs, they got shredded.

Missouri is averaging over 60% on 3rd down conversion

I'm not saying Missouri can stop Okl St, but Okl St sure isn't going to stop Missouri & Chase Daniel, and definitely not on their first drive. Go look at Okl St yards allowed per game. Those are against teams weaker then Missouri, 3-fold. If Missouri racks up 500+yds on the Cowboys, they won't be putting up just 28pts.

The game between Houston and Oklahoma St, is a good indication of what the game will be like. A very high-scoring event. I don't think Missouri is humble enough to respect Okl St, and changed their game plan, by controlling the clock. Plus, Missouri defense is nothing to brag about, and they too will give up points. Okl St is a well balanced team, and can make the big plays also.

This is what I see, per quarter:

OklSt    7   14  14  10  = 45

Mizzou is usually golden for a first half cover.  I always worry about them giving up the spread late.  I have seen the defense get lazy many times because they can always rely on the offense to out shoot everyone.  I see them coming out very strong for the big 12 home opener.  OKst is a good team and they will only cover is the defense is lazy in the second half.  Look for the easy first half cover.

Just a bit curious if the lack of TV coverage for Oklahoma State has made this a trap game for Mizzou betters...

In the first half they've allowed an average of 7 points and just over 150 yards.  In the first 3 quarters, OKST has allowed only an average of 14 points and 230 yards.  Those numbers tell a bit of a different story when you consider the final totals... Looks like garbage points and garbage yards are skewing their defensive numbers.

My advice is to stay away.

I think Missouri is for real, but their last home game against Buffalo(2-3), they were only up 6 pts halfway through the 3rd. The main reason for the rout Saturday was Nebraska's sorry defense. If Nebraska had OKST's offense, I think the game would have been closer and I think OKST's D is better than Nebraska. Upset? Probably not, but I'm not laying 14 on it.

Thanks for that info. Very good stat to look at in these cupcake blowouts. Is there a site that you got those from or did you do the math yourself?

Look I am a mizzou fan too so I guess my view is a little slighted as well but here is how I see it.  First let me say I NEVER bet against or for my teams. I just dont.  But last week I broke that rule and bet MIZZ and won.  This week I am tempted to roll again but I think I will just go to Columbia get drunk and enjoy the night.  But here is how I see it going down. MU will score 50+ no doubt about it.  I mean TAM score 24 so MU will score probable around 56 points.  So do I think that OSU will score 43? NO.  MU defense is not great but it is better than OSU and it is at home.  Another night game, this time in Columbia Chase and company will really want to pour it on for the home crowd.  I think going into the 4th quarter MU will be up by around 21.  So it all comes down to if the regulars stay in or if chase patten and the scrubs see action again.  I say no and MU hold serve in the 4th and wins by 21.

Wow could platinum be more of a prick?  Keep telling us all lies about how you hang out with the team, like anyone believes, cares or gives a shit. Mizzou may cover but no one likes to hear opinions or take advice from an obvious homer who gets upset with any remark made against his team. Grow up meatball!

yeah theres no way a senior student at mizzou could be friends with any member of the football team. i mean, what superstar athlete would hang out with a peasant aka student? i mean, football players dont have friends outside the football team, right? they all just hang out together... i get it.

FYI platinum, Missou is one of my favorite team last year, i profit from most of their game. Last week I took them against Nebraska and Won. I don't hate them but i feel like Okl St will cover the high spread. Okl St is a good running team. I think Missouri will win this game but it will be closer than the spread indicate.
 Stop acting like a little child when someone else don't see thing the eay you do.. Grow up will ya..

 see a back door trap in this game..I can see Mizzou up late by 17 or 21 and giving one back in the end...If it is 14..I would buy a hook to 14.5 and feel comfotable with that OKieSt offense trying to make a ground in the 4th,

This game is going to be high scoring affair. Mizzou should win it, but i wouldn't be surpirse if Okl St could pull an upset..

It's been a while since I've seen an offense like Missouri's. This offense can withstand holding calls, offsides, all the things that normally kill even the top echelon offenses.

The only thing thats gonna get in the way of Mizzou is getting complacent against a live dog. And Ok St is no live dog. These guys have been surviving the last month or so on the college football stud beer and box diet. Their town loves em and they are believing their own hype.

Missouri is gonna push their shit in.

   Just My hUmble opinion..............!

Mizzou is a very good team! I am a tExas fan, and follow the Big12, and Chase Danuials is great, but Okla Sta hads been playing well, and Probably wont win outright, being Chase Danial can score fast, So Closer than the line I will take the 14.5, and that is a HUGE -.5!

I feel this game will e Under 80 pts, and both are not going to score Big12 teams, and the defense of Ok st has something to prove, not getting a lot of recognition, so 60 pts scored, not 80! pulled trigger on that one! BOL Freinds! PG
