Not sure if you know how college overtime works. The only way to lose that play is a last second FG. Any TD and it's 31-24, any FG with remotely enough time on the clock puts the other team in 4-down territory until they reach at least FG range.

I cap this game at something like 34-28 Texas. But if I had the choice between playing it out or taking the 24-24 with 5 minutes left in the 4th, I'll take the later.

hey insight...let me let you in on a secret....Look at all of the posters here...not one of them has their location as Oklahoma. and I'm seeing alot of Sooner fans from around the SW in places like Tex and Neb.  Now in the daily Oklahoman....ALL..(not some) but ALL of their sportswriters backed Tex to win.  Do you know how often that happens?  it's rare mayne.  very rare. so....you're betting on OU to win and their own sportswriters don't believe in them and they get FIRST HAND info.  I would highly advise you to hedge your bet and put $$$ on Tex.  I'm not bashing you, but extending an olive branch from someone who knows about OU 1st hand due to being a resident and knowing people close to the sitn.  even people on Ou's team are expecting doomsday. 

I think lots of us in here KNOWS Texas pretty well. As much as u know your Sooners bro.  Texas has a huge fan base. Maybe even bigger than OU.  I don't think too many of us Underestimate OU and Bradford's big arms...

One more thing bro. From what you've stated, If OU wins, it'll be an upset. Upsets happens all the time. I understand that but upsets don't happen more often then not. Therefore, I'll take the Team that I think is better...

Last year's shootout IMO will become a defensive struggle this year. I doubt either team will have much success running the ball. Shipley will is a game breaker and may even return a punt for a TD in this game.

I'm going with UT because the Horns have more reliable receivers and don't have the same kinds of question marks on their O-line that the Sooners do.
