Go Mizzou, after what I saw on Saturday there is no reason they wont get back at Oklahoma and go on to the national championship.

Before the Oklahoma OkSt game I would have bet my house on Mizzou, but Oklahoma will be heathly again and looks like the old Oklahoma. Kind of like Oklahoma here, I just think Stoops knows how to win and will have his team ready.

Took Missouri last week against a Kansas team that i knew was a fraud. Missouri is comming off of a huge win...and i think preperation is going to be tough for the tigers..Oklahoma seems to play well in big games.

Dit says Mizzou, I'm leaning towards Mizziou....But seriously,, what happened to Oklahoma against Tx Tch,,,,Tech's only claim to fame is a DARN GOOD OFFENSE,,,,what does Mizziou bring to this table...A pretty good offense I believe.  Not sure either way, but sometimes you have to look at the "oddball stuff".....An oklahoma victory would PUSH the buckeyes into a championship game (truly sorry hunted, much respect 2 u) but they don't deserve it !!   This will also allow me to fufill one of my few predicitons, if the Buckeyes don't make it to the BCS Championship game, they will get SMACKED by USC in the Rose Bowl...Not hating on Buckeye fans (from Indiana here), but can't I have at least one prediction go right???? GL2ALL, and keep on posting'''

You almost have to wonder if this is the REAL BCS championship game.  Much like the AFC Championship game will be the real Super Bowl.

I think Oklahoma has a few advantages, one being the game is closer to home for them, so they should have more fans in attendance.  (That Mizzou-Kansas game was something -- even amount of fans, and equally noisy no matter who had the ball.)  They also have a better head coach in Stoops, and have the confidence to win since they have already done it earlier this year.

Mizzou has a slight edge at QB - Daniels played great last week, very poised.  But I think OK has the more balanced attack, including a great run game that means so much in a game like this.
My early lean is on OK here to repeat the win and make Hawaii the only undefeated team.

good points... line on that game fluctuated between 9 and 13 points, and the game ended at 10 pts... thanks in part to missed XPs by OU, and also to a meaningless TD on the last play of the game by Missouri, which would have been reviewed and overturned by the refs if it had actually had any impact on the outcome of the game... but the game was over, and OU had won, so they didn't even look at it...

 

and Kansas is a fraud all of a sudden?  Missouri played great, but let's face it, they dodged a lot of screaming bullets in that game... add another 5 minutes to that game and Kansas might have come out on top... Kansas is no fraud, and will most likely whip up on some poor team in a bowl game...

I respect your point GoG, but i feel the big 12 is weak all around...Oklahoma is the better team of the bunch but they continue to lose against sub par  opponents..Kansas had a easy non conference schedule, and didnt play Oklahoma or Texas...they bennefited from a week big 12  that had  Texas A& M, Colorodo, K state and Nebraska all have bad seasons. Kansas did what that had to do...but when the time came to beat somebody worth a damn they folded in the first 3 quarters of that game when it mattered. Everyone pointed to this game as the "show me what your made of game" and it proved their not made of much.

Missouri was not sure about how good they were the first time they played OU in Norman where the Sooners are 55 and 2 under Stoops.  They actually led thru 3 quarters of that game 24-23.  If you watched it you would remember the fumble on the mis communication by Daniel and Maclin on a zone read play that an OU defensive lineman ran in for a td.  Another turnover and the wheels quickly fell off.  They did however take away from that game that they were better than OU and point proven by outgaining them on the night.  The loss lit a fire in them and they are not scared of Oklahoma anymore.  They've been waiting for a rematch since they lost.  Auston English is probably out for OU and even if he plays he will be limited.  He's maybe the best D end in the conference.  Also out is Demarco Murray the stud frosh who is a serious threat to take it to the house every time he touches the ball.  Patrick is capable of handling the load although not having Murray will be an advantage as for Mizzou not having to game plan for him. 
Every player on Mizzou knows and feels like they are better than the man they'll be lining up against on Saturday.  They didn't luck into this ranking.  This is a hungry team who plays aggressive defense and offense.  They'll be no let down.  This is a team who gets after their opponent and dictates the type of play they want. They blitz alot on defense and come up with alot of negetive plays.  Evidence by the Kansas offense having 28 plays of zero or less yards.  They won't sit back and let OU intimidate them and control the line of scrimage.  They'll be the aggressor Saturday you can bet on that.  I know Stoops will want to win this game but will his players care about it as much as MU's will?  Doubtful.  This is a Tiger team that knows how much the university needs a big 12 title and they want to deliver.  (Hence MU men have never won a big 12 title in anything and they all know it.)  Daniel will make all the right decisions against a OU secondary that has huge holes.  He's played in the spread since he junior high and every snap he's taken has prepared him for this game.  A few years ago the talent between the 2 programs was huge.  Not anymore.  The gap has closed.  The only thing the Tigers had been lacking was a guy who could show the rest of them how to win.  Daniel has arrived.  And yes I'm a fan of MU but you can probably find some useful nuggets in there.

HMMMM...not being able to shut down the Missouri offense does not mean that they are "not made of much"...they did a fairly good job of slowing them down...and the Missouri defense played better than it had all year through three quarters of football. I think Kansas losing to Missouri is shows more fortitude for that team than Oklahoma losing to TT or Colorado.

If I'm not mistaken...don't Oklahoma teams that are highly rated usually get their doors blown off in the BIG  12 championship game? I know that the team is not the same...but even some of the best teams OU has had have laid an egg in the end!

If that happens....the only mess will be what's left on the field after W. Virgina bitchslaps Ohio St for a second year in a row in the title game.  Mizzu has to win.......they deserve a shot......they could match up with the wide open Mountaineer style........WVU would make Ohio St look like they were in slow motion!!!!  I would bet my 401k on that game!!!!  As for this one.......I'll take the winning combination that I took in the Mizzu-Kansas game.........Mizzu and the under.

  Bob Stoops is 4 and 1 in Big 12 championship games...thats not exactly getting your doors blown off now is it...Kansas is a joke and will get blown out in their bowl game as well. Big Big let down in this game for Missouri....the pressure is mounting

Yep, sorry bout that...I was thinking bout Colorado that gets their doors blown off....None the less....Missouri is just playing better football right now...I think they win it...but hell I'll take the points just in case im wrong

ndeldevil... i would agree with you that the Big 12 overall is a bit of a fraud this year... if you look at those teams, there haven't been a whole lot of quality wins outside of the conference...
 
but to judge Kansas based on the Missouri game is wrong... they came within 6 points in that game, in a game where they missed 2 FGs, and just shot themselves in the foot so much in the first half... i've watched them play, and they are a solid team, at least as far as the Big 12 goes... strange things happen in a game to make it go one way or another, but i think if those two lined it up again this week it is a coin toss who would win it... and i think they proved it... yea, the big game was something KU hasn't had to face in recent years, and it took them a half to get settled, but once they got it going Missouri couldn't stop them...
 
Kansas did something a lot of teams this year haven't been able to do... soundly thrash the opponents they are supposed to thrash... that is a mark of a solid team...

back up that statement and throw your money against Kansas in a bowl game... that team is no joke!  we don't know who they are playing yet, but there are only a handful of teams that would beat them... calling them a joke is a joke...

actually CDitty... you might have been referring to OU getting their doors blown off in the NC games against USC and LSU (i think) in back to back years a little while back... both games that i predicted quite well, based on the fact that the Big 12 tends to be over-rated year in and year out... and are again this year... i would bet on OU getting routed against the top 4 or 5 teams (Missouri not being one of those)... WV, USC, LSU, Florida, and probably VTech, would smoke them...
