Ehhh... I was actually AT that game (as I've been to nearly every Mizzou game this decade)... and I'm pretty sure i was sitting in St. Louis, NOT Illinois.

But yes, we did humilate them, and will humiliate Nevada even worse. This is one of the easiest plays ive seen in years.

Yeah, its no BS, local house has extremely favorable dog lines....can be pushed up by up to 3 pts in some cases.  I was not going to play that game but the 2td + line convinced me otherwise, a lucky break that paid off!

Seriously on this game I fully expect that house to have somewhere in the neighborhood of 9.5 or so.  It's that so many players where I'm from love the fave, and the over.

Lets not forget that at one point texas tech beat texas and was the #1 team in the country. I  bet them hard here, @-10.5 and was shocked to see that i was losing ats most of the game, until they pulled out the cover late in the 4th. 
 
It seems as though things sometimes are harder in Reno:  WAC rivals boise, fresno, and hawaii, all struggle in Reno.  Now I am not advising a Nevada play here...just advising that a cover here is a distinct POSSIBLITY, and I would not be shocked in the least if they win this game outright.  Call me crazy but people said that Oregon st. had a shot to win SU last year vs USC, I laughed at them....and they got the last laugh

When I looked at this game before the early line came out I made Missouri a 10 point Fav. Laying only seven is a gift. Think the line maker is on drugs!! This game is an absolute....................

Absolutely pointless, at one point last year Bama was #1 and they got smoked by Utah.  "AP Rankings" mean absolutely nothing except which bowl a team is going to go to.  AP writers are idiots and if you need further proof look at the #4 team in the nation. 

PS Texas Tech still covered that game.

Mizzou....qb's....NV 1td/4ints....Mizzou 8tds/0ints......granted that missouri hasn't really played anyone but the 1-4 for nevada's qb is far from respectable....Mizzou -7?  nevada hasn't seen this speed yet, no, not even from the irish....which may be a good indication of friday's score, though....

Mizzou was ranked #1 at one point last year and 2 years ago.

We havent done anything but go undefeated so far this year.

Nevada hasnt done anything but lose all year.

This game will be over by the 2nd quarter.

Ugh, this line scares me.  I took Mizzou, but had to buy it down to an even 7.  This line, as so many people have pointed out, looks very enticing.  Tigers SHOULD take care of this game handily.  Then again, if what should happen always happened, we'd all be rich...

Mizzou's inexperienced D-Line
will be facing one of the most
prolific offenses in 2008.
      (8 returning starters)
Mizzou lost alot of great players
from '08. This will be a good test
to find out how well Mizzou's young
squad will be able to stack up in
the BIG-12.

Yea line should be bigger but the Miss/Und will be the way to victory. Im 9-0 on Fridays with side, total, parlay. Book it.

It doesnt look like Nevada can stop anyone so Mizzu will get theirs.
nevada has look shakey recently but has been on the road for last 4 games.  Mizzu has played 4 away in their last 10.
Mizzu has faced much stronger teams than Nevada.
Mizzu can run the ball too not just pass thats why they were ranked #1 at one point last year along with their QB who is better than Nevadas QB  A good coach so they say, an unacheiving QB and a weak division and its all false hope for Nevada

I like Nevada here.  Line seems way to low.  Why?  Well I believe that this Nevada team is a good team that has played poorly while playing two good opponents in Notre Dame & Colorado State.  Missouri on the other hand was getting smoked by Bowling Green midway through the 3rd quarter two weeks before rallying to win by 7 points at HOME and then played Furman.  Bowling Green then lost to Marshall.  This is Nevada's home opener.  Nevada gets back on track and covers.  Might even be a solid Money Line play!

I think Nevada shows up at home in this match up. Nevada was projected to be up there in the WAC this season and possibly give Boise St some competition on top the WAC. Well the season started and I guess not the Nevada team that the experts expected.
 
Colin Kapernick has the potential to be a solid mobile qb but has yet to show it this season. Mizzou lost some key players on offense to the NFL but seems to be taking care of business as usual on offense this season.
 
I would not be surprised if Nevada won this one SU but I prefer to go with the over in this game.
