Minn. seems really good here.  Penn is overrated. Good D but a so so Offense.  Last week doesn't count beating up on a high school team).

After getting burned 3 weeks in a row by betting PSU I stopped and they finally covered a spread against Ill.  go figure.  But, I think they might fall back into that "just enough to win" approach.  I dont know what it is this year but JoPa and the Offense is really vanilla and conservative,  Clark isnt nearly as potent as last year.  I think I will take Minnesota and 17 points..  I see PSU winning by 10 - 14.

Way too many points to give Minnesota against a mediocre Penn St. team.  This will be a big play for me.

Bad spot for minny in my mind.. mite get ugly. last big ten team went into beaver Stadium and whipped them on both sides of the ball(Iowa). minny has an awful defense especially vs the run that can open up some big plays with playaction. I think Penn St puts up a scary number and will be able to run the ball in the fourth quarter to close out a 20 plus victory. Lip

While I do not like PS to cover 17.5 here, it is far far away from an easy cover for Minn.   Reason being is the Penn St D is one of the best in the nation and will get even better with the return of Sean Lee at LB.  PSU could cover by something like a 23-3 or 24-6 score. 

The real value here is on the UNDER.  I see it now at 47.5, down from 48.5, and it will probly go below 45 by game time.  State College had snow yesterday, more today, and more Saturday.  Or it could be a rain/snow mix.  It will be a mess, and all the grass parking lots have been declared closed for the game, which sucks for Homecoming.

Not buying the "Penn State D is one of the best in the nation" line.  Penn St. has played ONE team this year that isn't absolute crap and LOST to them AT HOME.  True, the Iowa O wasn't really responsible for that win, but Iowa's not known for their offense.

Anyway...  I do appreciate the weather forecast.  I'll take the points and the under.

Penn State wins easy if its a natural whiteout. That atmosphere is almost impossible to play in for a team of Minny's statue. A 17 plus cover.. not so sure. But there is one reason the line is so high, Vegas wants you on Minny. Those tricksters. :)

Crap! Bro the local closed the total on this game....can you give me accurate weather info closer to game time.....I'll still cheer for your Penn St SU victory but I like taking the points with Minny here...
