Hawaii is a good story but reality is just around the corner. Not to take away from there good season but they are meeting what I believe will be preseason #1 next year and the dawgs are excited. They understand why there arent in the BCS Championship and will be up for the Sugar Bowl .Hawaii should just be happy to be here. In a nutshell each team has a good qbs, GA has tandem of rbs Hawaii none, GA defense is fast and deep though there weaker in secondary but did well against Kentucky (that would beat Hawaii by 2 tds) Hawaii defense well...... review Washinton game speaks for itself. Will be @ game and expect to see some of the underclassmen to get a taste of the SUGAR as GA will have this one under control by the half .......this is not the WAC OR PAC baby you get behind and the mud gets deeper enjoy your stay in the BIG EASY !

Stabo, Hawaii has three good running backs in Kealoha Pilares, Leon Wright-Jackson, and Daniel Libre. They fit the Barry Sanders role in June Jones' offense perfectly.
Actually my friend the Warriors has a pretty good run defense but due to some injuries to a few players late in the season it gave a lot of people the idea that we are weak at stopping the run. This break in the season gave a chance for our defensive players to get some of those injuries healed up.
I do agree though that they may have their hands full with stopping these big boys in the running game.
).......I say the conference this year, more than any other was a farse!!! Every time I looked up.....somebody was piling on the "vaunted" LSU defense......Florida was losing(3 games in all) and Tennessee looked awesome one week and would get destroyed another. Georgia held on for dear life against Vandy......and had Troy give them everything they could handle.....the same Troy team that lost to FAU(might be my biggest bet of the bowl season!!) 
.......they are the ones in the tough spot!! God help that secondary trying to stop Rivers, Bess and the boys. There isn't anybody in the SEC running anything even remotely close to what June's boys do!?!?!? Hmm, I don’t know. Maybe the fact that they are the hottest team in the country going into the bowl season might have a little something to do with that. The only other teams that might have an argument would be USC and OU.

Take a line that is better than Vegas offers. The original line was -9 1/2. That line is now -8 1/2...still a bargain for Georgia backers.
A teams conference strength weighs, but does not determine an individual game. The Appalacian St victory over Michigan comes to mind...after all that is the very same team that felt jilted in last year's NC game only to be humiliated by USC in the Rose Bowl.
Intra conference offense is moot. One could say the same about La Tech, SJSU, and Nevada where Hawaii is concerned. All three teams were dogs in those contests and put up good points. Correct me if I'm wrong, but Auburn and Florida were the favorites...and Georgia was the Dawg in the SEC?

I always speak highly of the SEC because yes it is a strong conference, probably the strongest in NCAAF, but cmon man, show a little self respect and respect for others. Thanks for the reply Maui. You are right, there is no such thing as a "lock", and I shouldn't have used that word. I have said on all games, any outcome is possible, and I have given hawaii's offense in my posts on this game. They actually match up well against UGA's DBs, and will have some success.
I wasn't saying bet on UGA because of the conference, but because of UGA's performance against proven/known teams...it just so happens several happen to play in the SEC. The SEC does not have a monopoly on great teams, they just happen to have the largest collection of top athletes, thus they are a reliable indicator of what Georgia is capable of. Just because hawaii played a weak schedule doesn't mean they cannot be good/great; it is just more of an unknown as to how they will do.
Ohio State isn't necessarily a weak team just because they are in the Big 11. But since they haven't beaten a team ranked in the Top 20, they are a bigger risk than LSU. Your point is valid about Hawaii. Schedules are made out years in advance, and in some cases games must be rescheduled due to circumstances beyond your control (I beleive hawaii faced that this year from Mich State.) To the WAC's credit, they are willing to travel and play teams that have proven programs. The same isn't true of many teams/conferences. All of us are guilty are criticizing situations for which we don't have all the facts.
I will stick by recommendation for a heavy bet on Georgia, but I do think it will be entertaining, and it is just a case of UGA having more bullets in their gun, and Hawaii will give their all. Coach June Jones has done a remarkable job with all the circumstances he has to deal with: location proximity, facilities, budgets, etc. Thanks for your civil reply.
