Hi Phancard - every dog has had it's day this year as in every bowl season.  Of the 30 games played so far I show 12 underdogs have won straight up, SU! That's incredible...

I really liked the UCONN line when it first came out and am still willing to play it at -6.5.  As much as I like Turner Gill, I cannot see his team controlling the Huskies' rushing attack.  UCONN will pound the ball through Buffalo's weak defense and control this game.
 
Key indicator for me - in this game, unlike the Ole Miss game, there is no reverse line movement.  In that game the public was on Texas Tech to the tune of 74%, but the line moved in their favor (from -5.5 to down to -4.5).  In this game the public favors UCONN (68%) and the line movement reflects that going from -4 to -6.5.  Tells me that the sharp money (including our friend above) is on UCONN.  I am too!

when it's all said and done buffalo is going to be able to play with u conn  do yourself a favor take the points a-gift from the public . double your money up on this easy lick. u conn hasn't really blew anybody out this year

I am hesitantly going with UConn and the public in this one. I think the running game for UConn and the better quality lines on both sides of the ball that UConn boasts will prevail. I know Buffalo is 7-0 ATS as a dog this year and I know the game is played very close to home in Buffalo, but I just can't see them pulling off another big win in back to back games (the first coming over a VERY overrated Ball State team that committed 5 TOs.) I'll take UConn and hope that ground games control the clock, thus the under.

I gotta take Uconn here........I want to take the points so bad.......I just can't.......The Big East has done ok in the bowls......the MAC has not......this will be one of the best teams Buffalo has faced all year.......when they faced Mizzu and Ball St, both games went over also if I'm correct.......This one may also........but not sure yet.  I am sure that Uconn rolls.

There is alot of late money going on Buff. Yesterday there was 24608 total bets ( 68% on Uconn)  line has noved to 6.5  and now total bets of 42982 (down to 58 % on uconn) ( the sight I am looking at is Sports Insight)   I am looking at this and trying to pull the trigger on Uconn but they are a very ho hum team and why can't buffalo pull this out ( they are sky high)  Still studying

I was thinking UConn, but with the line movement to +7 I now see a lot of value with Buffalo. Still making up my mind, but leaning Buffs.

Fpronl, something was wrong with the thread and I could not get on until now.  See you are on Buffalo, which I am as well.  A little nervous after the 3 and out and that Mr. Sharp feels so strongly about CT.  We will see.

  These first two games are really tough.  I am going with Arizona:  home advantage, Atlanta's questionable results on the road, verteran QB versus outstanding rookie QB playing his first playoff game.  Yes, Arizona did not finish strong but they did not need to.  Regarding the second game again going with the home team.  My "flesh" says go with Indy at that would be easy to do:  the coaching, QB, winning streak, etc all favor Indy BUT - Rivers is hot, home field adv., Indy's winning streak was not against the toughest opponents (TN did not play their starters).  My only concern with SD is the health of a few key players.  Tomorrow is a day I feel much better with - going with the road teams.  Best defense with Baltimore who has finally learned how to help their defense by scoring some points and Philly who can handle MN who was not all that impressive this year with all their talent.  The fact that they are somewhat like the Bears in previous years with questions on who should start at QB .... this is not the time of the year to have ANY question on this critical position.  Hope that helps and good look.
