college and pro are two different things.. alota things that apply to college (like west coast teams goin east coast usually don't fare well) don't apply to pro games..

#1 in rush defense (20.7)
#8 in points allowed (11.4)
#4 in turnover margin (9)
#3 in total turnovers gained (17)

in a game like this i'd take a better defense over a better offense any day.. 

as for BYU being 9th ranked..

USC was #1 when it lost.. so rank has nothing to do with it..  rank is all about public perception..

So whats the deal with TCU's back up QB.  I have only seen them play once (OU) and have seen some comments that hes isn't worth a crap.  Any thoughts on what this will do to TCU's offensive production?
 
I have a hard time betting on a team who can't score, especially playing a team with tons of fire power.  I like TCU's defense to keep it close, but does anyone think they can outscore BYU with a lackluster offense?  Leaning on BYU at this point, any info on TCU's offense will be helpful

BYU coming off 2 wins in a row over the Frogs.
They are ranked 9th in the naton.
They played a pretty weak slate of opponets this year.
TCU has a tendency to come up big against ranked opponents at home. Yes the dogs will be barking tonight. REVENGE.
TCU - 35                               BYU - 34
Horned Frogs +1         over 46
Should be a great one to watch.

BYU keeps rolling here. I agree with an earlier post the BYU should be giving 3 - 4 points. I'll take em in a pick game.

This is in the vegas paper sports page today.

Byu coach Mendenhall said the Horned Frogs not only are well coached but are a confident defensive group. They might be the best defense I've seen since I've been here.

Here is what I posted on the USC/Oregon St. game.

In the paper today ( sports page ) Las Vegas. USC's coach said. We've had difficult times with Oregon State in years past ,particularly in playing there.We'd love to play a nice football game and get out of there with a win and get on back home.

So being my 2nd or 3rd post on this thread....I feel that there are very strong points made for the TCU play which I analyzed earlier yesterday and stated my thoughts, as I read the rest of everyone else's opinions they seem to be making the same points which are correct and very strong.....Whereas, when ppl vote for a BYU blowout they simply say there offense is stellar and their ranked, the arguement doesn't seem well articulated or strong enough, yet squares seem to be riding them....I'm confused to how some people think...now I may be a newbie to this posting on threads business but I just do not get how some people think when it comes to these trap type of games good luck all

No sense in getting confused on why people are liking BYU just stick with your TCU play if you try to over think it you'll get more confused.

FYI I did read your post earlier on this thread and see you stress the passing game of BYU but they also have a solid running game with Unga in the backfield that sets up the passing game. Unga is a hard back to take down.

Leaning on BYU 1st half bro but still waiting for my final lines over here. The local already pegs teams that I play on the norm and BYU is one of them so I do expect my lines to be juiced up a bit for the 1st half.
