Lot of Arky Fans wanting to see the Rebels play poorly and Arkansas get some payback for the loss last year it seems to me.
On paper The rebels are significantly beter in this matchup as their pass D and scoring D are both in the top 20 nationally. Arky can run the ball, but petrino's preference are the deep outs and digs which no one has had success running against the rebels this year. IF arky can score 28 which they may (although no one has done that yet this year), I think they win straight up. If Arky is held to under 20 (75% probability), the rebels win and cover.
Rebels have problems on the oline, but things are improving in that area and Sneed regardless of poor play is capable of putting up huge numbers if he gets protection.
Tough one to play in my opinion, I can see how most would lean Arky based on recent results, but I would say to be careful here, if the Rebels fix their oline problems, the D is there for them to go on a roll.
Good luck all

One word will sum up the Ole Miss Rebels and their "savior" Houston Nutt:

This game has trap written all over it to me. Please tell me I'm not the only one who thinks this line is strange. It seems like an early b-day gift arky plus points, no? Everyone recalls Arky beating Auburn and almost pulling the upset at florida, and everyone recalls Ole Miss being overrated(as a Top 5 team) and losing to bama.
Last I checked the oddsmakers don't give away free gifts. Everyone is going to be all over arky plus the points. Nobody giving ole miss a chance. Hmmmm.....

OLD MISS BIG. First of all:Old Miss has a very solid defense and they should be able to score at will vs a suspect arkansas defense at best. Florida looks well...not like florida plus thay should have won that game outright so they must be a little hung over from having the game in their lap and letting it get away. i think if old miss jumps on top early they will have the defense and the motivation to blow them out of the building. Old Miss by 14 plus. LIP

Seriously, if you think Ole Miss stays within 2 touchdowns of the Razorbacks you deserve to lose money. The Razorbacks will obliterate Ole Miss this weekend. It is the mortal lock of the century. If you don't believe me, take this into consideration:
1.) Nutt's record in October- since 2000 he is 21-18... not bad... but of those games he is 9-16 In SEC games (Feel free to see how many of those wins were against Kentucky and Vandy).... Ouch
2.) Arkansas intense disdain for the man- Arkansas fans HATE Houston Nutt. This game may be 50:50 Arkansas fans vs Ole Miss in the Grove tomorrow, as it is our essential Rivalry Game. Home field advantage will be worthless.
3.) Who would you rather see calling the plays again? Ole Miss (NUTT) does NOT throw to the tight end or middle of the field. I can game plan a D for his offense- Smoke draw left, smoke draw right, 2 receiver out, Kick. He is a kindergardener to Petrinos PhD
4.) Last years game. If not for a debatable late offensive pass interference call (at home) the HOGS beat last year's media darling Ole Miss team, and we were HORRIBLE last year.
5.) Who has Ole Miss beaten this year? Memphis, SE Louisanna, Vandy, and UAB- no wonder their D looks so solid
Really, I could list 100+ reasons why the HOGS win but it would consume most of my night. Nutt will have his team motivated with Rah Rah and what not, but Petrino will have his team PREPARED and this game won't be close.
Take the HOGS and the points. Additionally, we may cover the over by ourselves.

"Mortal Lock of Century" when u here these words flip the switch . Ole Miss will not stay within two td's...get a fucking clue then talk. Arkansas fans hate houston nut??? who gives a rats ass and can the fans stop the pass?? Every week is different this will be a tough spot for arkansas especialy after giving away a golden opportunity last week now having to bounce back on the road against a talented team. The line movement says it all 5 to 6' with all the guru's hammering arkansas the line is moving higher so maybe the suckers can double up even more. have fun grabbing the lolly pop. Lip

Copy/Paste from the Gold Sheet which probably does good to make 50% of their predictions BUT I agree with this.
Taking the Hogs +7
Up and Coming Arkansas has played “lights-out” ever since 35-7 loss at Bama (3 straight covers, near upset at “The Swamp”), so compelled to take Hog squad getting solid play on both lines.
Believe Arkansas’ rifle-armed QB Mallett (224 YP, no ints. vs Gators) makes a few more vertical plays than Ole Miss’ up-and-down counterpart Snead. And with elusive 5-9 soph RB D. Johnson (107 YR vs. UF) picking up for injured M. Smith, Arkansas defeats former mentor Houston Nutt after near miss LY.

Arkansas played well against FL last week and prob should have won minus a few bad calls, but that means nothing this week! If anything I feel that will demoralize them going into another road game against a stout D.
FADE THE PUBLIC...GO WITH OLE' MISS AND THE PTS HERE!!!!!!!

the hogs have covered the last 6 or so games against ole miss, always as the underdog. and the hogs suspect d has been playing much better since the thrashing at bama. They sacked got to TT a lot last week. Although Flor is not the team they once were, but neither is Ole Miss. If the hogs win this they get ranked, they need a ranking to get a bowl. A must win for a team that is playing better D, no questions about there good O, and gettin points against a team that goes W-L-W-L-W-?????????? Finish the pattern
Hogs lose by 5 maybe win str8 up

Florida was flat last week coming off the lsu win , Arkansas caught them at a good time , mississippi pass defense will slow arkansas down .Mississippi all the way
