If Floyd can't go Saturday, I'll probably be on MSU myself.  If he would have been in the last drive they might have sealed the deal Saturday.  Floyd had to get stitches in his knee I don't know what the deal is going to be with that injury.  Just FYI

Updating you real quick...Looks like Floyd is going to try and go..although he had 15 stitches in his knee.  They are saying he is going to practice and should play.  Just letting you know on that..he wanted to go back out after the injury.  One tough SOB.

MSU Spartan homer here.  Careful with that MSU pick.  The OL is struggling bigtime, so they have abslutely ZERO running game right now. Offensive Cooridnator Treadwell is the most conservative play calling fool you've ever seen and our D Coordinator is a complete idiot.  No adjustments made in that Central game, so they dink and dunked us the entire game.  I see Tate and Floyd just torching our secondary the entire afternoon.  The Spartan secondary is pitiful right now, and the coaches aren't putting them in a position to make plays.  ND could light up the Spartans for 40 plus easily, and I'm not kidding.  I know we've played ND tough over the years but this Spartan team is vastly overrated this year.  Just tread lightly is all I'm saying.  I think a lot of people are looking at the recent history in this series and saying the Spartans are the play, but they have no running game and can't stop the pass.  That's a bad combo when playing a good team on the road.  This is a definite no play for me after watching them play firsthand the last two games.  In any case, good luck and I hope you're right that the Spartans play beyond their means and keep this one close.  But I'm not betting on it...

Florida opened at -25 at the Hilton.  Easy wager.  TEnnessee could not score against UCLA's average (for the Pac 10) defense.  How are they going to score against Florida?                             
 
UCLA has lost their starting QB, in case you did not know.  That is why the line is so low.                                                       
 
You will never see VA Tech -7 against Nebraska, even though the Big 12 is not so "Big" any more.                                               
 
As far as Cal vs Minny goes, do you think that Tedford learned his lesson from last year's debacle at Maryland?  I am not so sure.    
 
I agree with you on the BYU-Florida State game. BYU -7 seems a lot, but the MWC is probably a better conference at the top than the ACC is.  This game worries me, and I do not play games that worry me. 
 
I think that Oregon State as a pk is a very good spot for a possible "middle".  Two pretty good teams.
 
We took Florida -25,  the Air Force -13 against New Mexico, and Northwestern -3 against Syracuse.  We also layed a middle, but I am not looking for anything to come of it.  We took East CArolina +10 when the lines came out yesterday, hoping to get UNC at under 7, but so far, that is not the case.

Wow, I know Miami OH sucks, but they're finally playing a team at their level, one that has looked incompetent the first two weeks, though not as wretched. I know your numbers show a throttling, but I'd stay away. In fact, I'm staying away from all MAC teams except Buffalo this week.

Zack Maynard is a fricking stud. Just wait until he bulks up a little. Still, he and Naaman are going to carve up the Golden Knights or Knights or whatever the hell they are calling themselves these days.

I'm with you on the W. Michigan game -17.Western Michigan has averaged over 260 passing yards in games at Michigan and Indiana (two solid teams). Miami is the second to last in the MAC team in pass D. The Broncos'  first home opener comes against a sorry Miami team that has lost its first two game by a combined 90-0 to Kentucky and Boise State. Miami's has its first-year head coach  Haywood, the  former offensive coordinator at Notre Dame, but the team is averaging just 191 total yards?? I dunno just looking so far I think this is a good pick to look at.

WMU is in a different class than Miami Ohio this year ...

Mike Haywood is a Joke and should have never been giving a head coaching job

Maynard is a top shelf by MAC Standards ....

Kentucky is a tremendous looking play, my biggest of the year.  My record is horrible so that doesn't mean much.  I live in Louisville and go to grad school at U of L.  this program/team is a fucking mess.  they have nothing and are going to get stomped.  similar situation to tennessee last year when they (players, fans, admin) all tacitly decided that fulmer needed to go, same thing here with Cragthorp.  He is fucking hated.  Now they are also gouging football ticket holders to help pay for the basketball arena.... good times, good times.....  Cardinals are fade material ALL year.  They get beat Saturday by whatever Richy boy wants to put up.....

Maynard looked great but he won't bulk up any time soon.  He just doesn't have the frame for it.  Maybe another 5 or 10 pounds at the most.  He is damn athletic though, and threw the ball great.  I am looking forward to the next  3 years with him at QB.
