What do you think about your Wahoos? 10.5 seems like a ridiculous amount of points for a series that's been so close every year but last. And I have to think UVA has improved a lot since last year.

Wahoo,

Some Auburn fans have questioned Ted Roof, but to call Chizik a fraud is, IMO, insane.  Look at this staff he put together.  Hard to argue they are not a top 3 recruiting staff in the nation.  Plus, you are blaming Chizik for having talent gaps which was not his fault AND under his staff, Auburn filled the gaps good enough to win the NATIONAL TITLE.  And if you are hung up on Cam, all I can say is... get over it. 

...both teams are young.  It will probably be an ugly game... just like both teams have played so far.  As always, turnovers will be huge especially for Auburn because the run defense has obviously not matured yet.  If you have not noticed, Auburn has solid special teams, and Auburn will need special teams to be special.  I think Miss St. is better than Clemson (and I think they might beat LSU Thursday night).  So, Auburn can win this game, but with all the youth, we just don't know what they will do for the first time on the road in front of all those opposing fans.  But, I wouldn't bet against this Auburn staff having those players prepared.

Chizik is not a big time football coach, I don't even think he is a good coach, he has put together a nice staff but can't anyone do that at a big time program with money?  the guy is a fraud and will hold on to his job at Auburn because of the National Championship, trust me when I tell you this, he will never win another one and a few years from now you guys will be far removed from a National Title threat, Chizik is not a good football coach, I stand by that statement and I think it's 100% legit

I'm not hung on up on Cam, I think Cam is probably the best college football I have seen over the past decade, he was awesome and he is the reason Auburn won a title

you don't have to agree with my opinions, they are mine for a reason

very soon Gus will be gone and be a head coach himself, when that happens then look out

I predict Auburn will be a middle of the pack SEC team for many years to come and then you will understand what I meant by the statements against Chizik, the guy is a fraud, wait and see

We will see, but I don't think you have looked at this situation very... clearly.  Chizik's background speaks pretty well for itself.  Undefeated 2004 Auburn defensive coordinator.  Undefeated national champion Texas defensive coordinator in '05.  Yes, he struggled in what was rebuilding years (which is always) at Iowa State.  But, then he comes to Auburn and puts together arguably THE BEST coaching staff in the nation.  And all of them love him. (Nope, not every coach or program with money does that) He has kept the staff in tact for 3 straight years... no, not everybody can do that.  Do we all expect some coaches to eventually leave?  of course, but if you don't think Chizik hasn't thought about that.... well... not much I can say.  The direction of the Auburn football program is going up.  Chizik has his hands on every inch of that program, and if you can't find a way to give the guy some credit for that, then all i can say is you must be butt hurt about something.

I agree with you about Chizik, but one thing I will have to say about him is that he has his kids believing... So many times last year it would have been so easy for them to hang their heads and quit fighting, but they didn't, especially in the Iron Bowl. This year has been no different, a young team, without Cam, and yet they still find a way to get it done.... For that I will have to give Chizik a little love.

One of the biggest fanbases in the nation protested his arrival yet they all love him as soon as he buys a championship

I like the school bro and I'm not hurt over anything, just giving my opinion that he isn't a good football coach, now the expectations are for Auburn to be a steady top 10 program, if you guys think that will happen then keep waiting, we shall see who is correct in the long run, only time will tell

this isn't an argument that can be won this weekend regardless of what either of us say, best of luck with your wagers this season

isn't it unreal?  everyone hated the guy as soon as he got off the plane, they wanted him out of town, he lands Cam Newton, gets a few miracle wins and know they think he is a good coach, they will all soon see that he is the fraud they thought he was, give it 4 to 5 years and Auburn will be middle of the pack SEC at best, that is best case scenario

Guys, there was aproximately two guys yelling at the AD when he got off that plane (Not Chizik).  So, that is far from "everyone"....  And Wahoo, I challenge you to go back over the last 20 or 30 years of SEC football and tell me Auburn isn't a top 3 SEC football team.  Since there has been an SEC championship, there has been 3 teams in the SEC to go undefeated... Alabama, Auburn, and Tennesse.  Bama did it once.  UT did it once.  Auburn has done it 3 times, and yet you think that all of a sudden (in 1, 2, 3yrs??) Auburn is going to simply be a "middle of the pack SEC team at best".... once again, IMO, you are not looking at this clearly.  But, as we said... we will wait and see... good luck with your picks.

Honestly, who the fuck is looking at that USC/Cuse line and betting that up? USC has scored 36 points against similar competition, and now they're being bet up to 17? I really don't get it... 

Nice UCF line. That line opened soft...still is. FIU is still a Sun Belt team right? 

If you don't mind, what do you see in La Tech? GL this week Wahoo.

the only things I can think of are travel and a weak secondary for Cuse but I'm not betting on the matchup, this will be the best QB that USC has faced and Lane is lost out their, if Pete were still around I'd probably lay 24 with USC in this game , it is that bad of a matchup for Syracuse but Lane is as bad as I've seen with in-game adjustments and USC has yet to score in the 4th quarter until that crazy blocked field goal from the other night, I'm not positive but I think they have a total 7 offensive points in 2 games in the 2nd half in their own backyard, I'll take my chances with the less skilled Orange

UCF will dominate FIU, they should win that game by 21 points, 31-10 is about right, UCF is very close to being "large" for me, I already bought the line but I may just keep betting it at 4, the line should be 10.5, not 4, a classic overreaction to a great game by FIU on national TV

the reason I have yet to bet La Tech is the line, I had La Tech circled to begin the season to give Houston a very tough game, crazy things happen at that venue, Houston will not take them serious after La Tech's poor play last week, if the line gets to 10 then I'm gonna bite, La Tech will be primed for the upset, not sure they can beat them in the end but I'll take the home dog if the line gets right

Yeah I have always liked LT as a in conference home dog, I guess I'm just not comfortable with their team yet this year. Gonna look a little more into that one, as always looking to fade Houston as a road favorite of any substance. 

Regarding Lane K., dude must be the best interviewer ever. No clue how he keeps getting premium jobs. Makes Gene C. look like Stephen Hawking...

Like the card, but am opposite of AZ. What are you seeing in LVille? Their offense looks horrendous and their secondary is crap. That being said, I thought this line would be 4ish.....

Will take a second gander at byu,cf, and nevada on your liking them alone.

And obviously I realize Hou is in a diff conference, just seems like LT's OOC games are typically away or hosting crap teams, so no home dog OOC opportunities.

I see two shitty teams with equal skill level, I get the better coach and more than a touchdown in a bitter rivalry, I couldn't click submit fast enough, I set the line at 3.5 and when I saw 8 I laughed and bet it, I know Louisville will have a very poor year and they are an ugly team but Kentucky has looked awful in their games as well, I'm taking the dog and happy with the line

as far as Arizona goes, you are just wrong with Stanford
