Handicapper33: I have no problem quickly responding to your points...
1. "What has Clark done on the road." This year he...admittedly...has faced some bad defenses vs Ill, Michigan and Northwestern but he was effective. (Mich St is also a bad defense.) @ ILL 17-25 for 68% 175 yards No INT/No TD @ Michigan 16-27 for 59% 230 yards No INT's/4 TD's @ Northwestern 22-31 for 70% 274 yards No INT, 1 TD.
So looking at the pure stats, he's effective, with a 5 TD/0 INT ratio.
Basically, he only needs to be effective, especially with the run game taking pressure off him. NW had the best pass eff defense ...I think he'll be as efficient as he's been all year long.
2 BYU. I went with series history as a starting point w/ this pick. BYU has shown they can consistently handle AF. I'll agree that both defense really do stop what the other offense does best. But both teams play some trash on their schedule so there may be a few stats in this game that are lying to us. If nothing else, it'll be interesting to see what happens.
3. ULM did give up over 500 yards rushing to ULL last year. It was like 550 or something, and was an NCAA record. If this defense has a pulse, they will remember last year and use it as fuel this year. ULL lost everyone on offense so that should help ULL.
4. "Stick with home teams especially at the end of the year unless the team
playing it has something to play for and none of them do."
Valid point. I've done that for the most part. This week, the games I like just happen to send me in the opposite direction. (I also like Minny & Maryland...2 terrible teams also on the road...so I'm tredding carefully with so much dreck on my radar this week.)
Hmmph...I thought it was going to be a quick response. It's tough as hell to get me in a conversation. Get me going and I don't shut up.

Both teams are banged up. KU has lost a couple close games and GA is one of the most penalized teams, and are sloppy with the ball.
Maryland +18 -120 @ Florida State
Decided to add MD after over-thinking a bunch of useless crap. Lost out on +19 but I don't think it matters. I obviously like MD this week since I'm on the team total and side.
