Hey bud, thanks for the post.

No matter how confident I am regarding a bet, I am obviously curious as to why a line moves three points under any circumstance. As with most of the fellas, my first thought was to research the injury report. Everyone seems to be ready to go.

For those that make plays based on line movements, this game has to be very disturbing. Personally, as long as no one is injured and the weather isn't influential, I will not be persuaded with my play in tonight's game. I believe this game is a complete mismatch.

I hope it does rain. Rain affects the defense and not the offense......the offense understands their offensive assignment while the defense is the side that has to make adjustments to the ball carrier and passing routes.. This is why I will look strongly to taking an over on a total as it comes down in relation to weather/rain. CMU has a great balanced attack. LeFevour does a great job making adjustments and I love his ability to run.

Snow and wind is another story. My theory only applies to rain.

RE: Line Movements:

Check out yesterdays NBA games... and even this past weekends CFB and NFL games. Lots of line movements. Some significant. If you hesitated to play Pacers, Thunder, Hornets, Suns, or Lakers because the line movement indicating influential $$$ on the other side... you lost out on some nice winners. On the other hand, Warriors, Nuggets and Bulls would've cashed had you played on the line-mvmt basis.  I've never witnessed as many line changes/mvmnts.   

With more and more public access to betting %'s and up to the second line movements, it shouldnt surprise anyone that the books are tweaking tactics to confuse the line and % watchers.... and judging from just the reactions in this thread, their is definitely a new category of book-line making tactic.... The reverse-psychology line movement.
