I think everyone should be throwing the whole "Kansas has a soft schedule angle" out the window. It cannot be compared to Hawaii's, as the Jayhawks play in a legitimate BCS conference. The Hokies are the ones who are champions of an ACC that this bowl season has proven to be a shit conference.
I'm really convinced that if there was another quarter in that Big12 championship, Kansas would have won that game. It took the Jayhawks a little longer to adjust to the bright lights of the game, and they commited serious red zone turnovers that brought about their downfall.
Having gotten that game out of the way, the Jayhakws should be primed for the bright lights.
The most important angle in this game, to me, is that of motivation.

Virginia Tech, on the flip, is playing for a 12-win season. You tell me who's more motivated?
