6-3-1 last week, for this week:
Michigan State +10.....Not real confident in this one, obviously, since it took me 3 days of staring at the line before I actually bet it. I was honestly planning on betting Michigan in this game at under a TD, but this line should only require MSU to score 14 points to cover. Denard has done virtually nothing vs MSU his entire career and the nucleus of the defenses that have stopped him over the years remains in tact. The under would be a nice bet but it's already dropped to 42 at my book and the value, IMO, is gone. I think this will be a slugfest, both defenses should reign supreme. The thing that scares me about betting MSU is their lack of discipline. They will probably commit 10 penalties Saturday, I just hope they aren't real costly. Last year, MSU had like 150 yards in penalties vs Michigan, but were talented enough to still win by 14, this year's MSU team isn't good enough to overcome that. But I do think MSU's defense keeps this one close, Michigan 20-16.
Also on:
Navy -2.5 (BIG).....Love the Midshipmen here. IU is coming off of two heartbreaking losses at home to tOSU and MSU and now they've got to travel to play a non-conference game vs an option attack. Besides, haven't we seen enough of B1G 10 non-conference games to happily fade this shitty conference? Also, Navy appears to have "righted their ship" (pun intended).
Might add more, heading out for a weekend of blackjack and drinks at the casino. Good luck ya'll
