I am not so sure this game will be such a blowout. I mean, both teams have quarterbacks that look like heisman contenders. Both have nasty defenses. AND, both teams have played weak competition and both have blown out that weak competition.
7 points seem like a lot for a game with two teams that seem pretty even thus far....

No way the line will move to 6.5. Grab OK right now and slam them BIG. OK Defense is solid and their Offense is sick with it. Way too many weapon for Texas to handle.
Better O-Line, Better RB, Better WR, Better QB and Better Defense = OK.

I don't start my own threads much anymore so I don't expect you to put much weight into my opinion...............but I've seen both teams play. Mack Brwn doesn't have a safety valve anymore.........Stoops does. Ok will come out on top by better than 7

UT has a very green secondary that will get torched by the OU passing attack. I think they'll hang around until the middle of the 3rd quarter, when OU starts to pull away. 14-17 points isn't a blowout.

I suggest you should jump on OU now. As a Horns fan, i dont think we can hang with OU....OU is 6-2 since 2000. UT secondary is very young...and their OU's offense is one notch above UT's offense...This might be a high scoring and I see OU will comes out on top. I'm predicting the final score is something like 45-35

OU was way better than we were last year, but we still only lost by 7.
...before the year I thought we had no chance, but if i see 7.5 i'll be on my Horns as i'll be in the crowd hopefully witnessing my 2nd Red River victory in 3 years that i've attended

Samford will torch Texas's pass defense. Texas pass defense=not so good.
Who is Samford??????
Listen, OK is the #1 team in the country and will present a major challenge. And they will probably win....but it will be close IMHO.
Everyone keeps saying Texas pass defense or just there defense sucks, there is no evidence for that statement regardless of who they have played so far.
My point is, if this line creeps up, which it looks like it will, I will gladly take Texas with a touchdown or more lead to start the game. It is a RIVALRY game with both teams looking very good. That equals a close one.

ok, I meant Sam Bradford. Guess you didn't get it. Put Sam+Bradford together=Samford. Nevermind, it's lame I know. Anyways,, I'm on the over if anything. But still, the Texas pass defense gets torched as they couldn't hold Colorado to limited passing yards. Yes, the Buffs scored only 14 points, but still couldn't contain the passing game. They will get worn out.

This game will be an absolute war........... Mobilehoma will underestimate Texas this year. No doubt that this Texas D can stop the run. If they can contain the pass and not give up to many big plays.....Texas can hang in this game and keep it close. Will Muschamp defense hangs on for the win.
Texas 27 Mobilehoma -- 23
