Jim_Tressel - I respect you as a capper and you have great insight to games. However, I'm going to have to roll with these other guys on this one, as a new stadium is NOT that big of a deal, to the point that it will distract a decent Minnesota team from beating up on a less talented Syracuse team that is getting a major overhaul job. I'm sure they are excited about their new stadium and can't wait to play there, but once the pads are on and the whistle blows, do you think the Minny players are going to be thinking "Damn. I just can't wait until next week when we get to play in our brand new stadium...."? My guess is that the MEDIA and the SCHOOL are pumping up this stupid 'New Stadium' story in order to try and get asses into the seats and help pay that baby off! Anybody that thinks a team will pull the 'look ahead' situation because of a new stadium......well, you're buying into the media hype on this one. Not to mention, Syracuse is just a bad team. Bookieassasin's post was the best thing I've read in this entire thread. Don't let outside media factors skew your thinking when it comes to capping (that goes for everybody). Now let's all get this Minnesota cover and start the season right!

i could care less about 50/50 action, or line movement, or a grand opening... i have thoroughly capped this game... you can make an argument for not betting on the game... but if you are betting on Syracuse, you're a bad capper...
