.......not as if MIAMI hasnt had stars on their sidelines....not as if MIAMI has more alumni playing in the NFL currently than probly any other college, a good percentage of them Pro Bowlers and top 10 at their positions....Ive seen my CANES lose a number of games with the ''motivational'' alums on sidelines.....very weak point

well guys im a panther homer, big game for pitt but in past non confrence battles they have laid eggs, grant it this is diffrent pitt team ,but i'll tell you one thing pitt will not be running any trick plays, yeah its a big game all the ol boys will be honored , and to be quite honest a measuring stick to see where this program is at. now both the stache and shannon are great recruiters but, some would say they both manage game horribly, the weather in this game will be wonderful at the ketchup bottle, and should be great atmosphere for pitt, one thing about pitt, ive heard people say they dont have top talent, couldnt disagree more ,they have nfl talent on there ball club ,and they are physical,and will try to control line of scrimmage, skill positions are well filled at wr , rb, qb sunseri has pitt blood and good football genes he will be ok, pitt will show up for sure ,but will miami talent may be too much, or will it? is miami really that more talented then pitt? my take is they are definitly faster but, pitt is more physical, right now i lean pitt, but you know im reading about billy walters palcing 100k on pitt, if he is such a feared capper then why wouldnt line move i jus got in form work but i see3.5 pretty steady even i see pitt +3.5+100 so i dont know about that one but i always look at those angles as well gl guys

Pitt has major issues on the interior of it's O-Line, namely new starter G Gaskins.  And tonight he faces the strongest and most athletic D Lineman Miami has ever had in Allen Bailey(Holds school record for Bench and Squat) who moves back to DT from DE, Top 10 pick Bailey will partner with Marcus Fortson to shut down the inside run and put major pressure on inexperienced QB Sunseri.

If you watched the Utah game you saw that the Pitt pass defense get torched and despite what happened in Columbus, Miami can throw the ball all over the field.

Miami is #1 in the country in Punt Returns, #8 in Kick returns, and they have the best punter in the nation in Matt Bosher.  Pitt is 38th, and 67th respectively. 

You listed Miami as being "Turn Over Pron", but as a "Fade The Public guy" I figured you would also understand that despite public perception, statiscally turn overs are random, and as a betting principal, a team coming off a high turn over game is LESS likely to turn the ball over than coming off a no turnover game.    

Pitt doesn't have starting MLB and it's All Big East "Heart of The D" DE Romeus. 

So Miami is superior on Offense, Defense, and Special Teams.  Explain again why Pitt is the pick here...

everything dannycabeza just explained is the reason Pitt is the play. So this is good handicapping, pointing out all the obvious stats and going with the public favorite. This is what everyone does and Miami might win tonight, however, this is also the reason most gamblers lose over the long term.

I dont know if youve been to vegas lately, but the town cant afford any kind of losses. A comment like that makes no sense. First of all only one of two book actually make the lines. Those lines are made by the casinos that have bigger sports book like say the las vegas hilton. I dont know if youve ever put a ticket in at the las vegas hilton but on weekends there is a line out the door. Vegas cant afford to give away money. Are you really dumb enough to think they put these lines up and they dont care about losses. Betting with vegas is the smartest thing one can do. Do you think they would even have sportsbooks if they didnt bring in a ton of money. EVERY casino has one. Hell M resort 15 miles off the strip has one of the nicest sports book Ive ever witnessed. And theres a reason.

I clearly understand your market driven strategy, but in picking a single game you have to consider the fundamentals of a team, and situationals.  You aren't talking about a string of bets or "the long run."  You are talking about the Canes vs the Panther tonight, one night only.

Don't get fooled here. This is a game with reverse psychology. I usually play 500-1000 per game. I am putting 3000 on this game. I have only posted 8 games in 2 years on covers, but I am 8-0. Miami wins this game by double digits. Miami will exploit the Pittsburgh defense in this game. Hurricanes run away in this one. Bad day for Pittsburgh alumni, as Pittsburgh gets smashed. Miami seems like easy $$$ today & truly is!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Today will bring me to 9-0 on an easy cover for the Hurricanes. Good luck everyone!
