How do they lose the Pac-12 north this year?  They are -195 right now.  I think they should be over -300.  If anyone wants to tie money up, this is the wager.  They will give USC a run for the conference.  (+215)

I'm having a hard time not seeing a USC Oregon rematch in the champ game

Stanford is asking themselves the same thing and Oregon has much more talent at every other position

It's a good bet...........even if they lose another game besides USC they will likely still be tops in the north, as I rate them an A & the rest of the north as a B- at best...........yes, I think Stanford will still be tough but they'll be down a notch.

darren thomas was a bum, I remember hearing the same thing when Mosoli was expelled from the team, they went to the BCS championship that year.

 

Its a great bet, but how much should be risked to justify that long of a wait to collect?

I mean for me, it would have to be at 300 dollars a game profit which means Id have to risk 6000 to win 3600

Im not willing to tie up that much into it, although its an almost cant miss situation.

I'm trying to find excuses not to lay a nice amount of money on this because I don't like tying up money on futures, but this is such a solid bet. Really, only -195? Do the books believe that Stanford is a team that can still give Oregon a great challenge after losing so much to the draft? I just don't understand this line, I had it projected more around -350. Maybe I'm undervaluing Stanford a bit, but Oregon's defense improved, they have a solid O-line, and they look pretty promising on the offensive side of the ball. I don't want my College Football bankroll to exceed $5000, so I'm not sure exactly how much I want lay on this yet, and I just don't see a point unless I'm getting $1000 in return, which would require me to lay basically 40% of my bankroll, which could be put to better use on week to week wagering.

This is only my 2nd year of single game wagering, and first year betting on College Football. So far, I have had winning seasons in every sport I have capped thus far (MLB, NBA, and NHL). Based on your guys experience, is it worth it to lay a nice chunk of change on futures? I assume not because there is so much more value to be found on week to week wagering, especially with the NFL going on at the same time, forcing books to allocate more time into making sharper lines for the NFL. Again, I'm asking because I'm not completely fimiliar with betting on College Football yet. Thanks guys and I look forward to a productive season this year.

I think this is the best futures wager out there.  If you have 5k to play with why not throw 1,500 on it and you will get almost 770 back.  Stanford isn't going to do much.  They will be okay but Oregon should be on top of the North from day one.  They will give USC all they can handle too.  I think that game is a pick.

Oregon was a spread covering machine last year. Now they lose their top 2 players. Usually when this happens, the public loses their shirts betting on the team ATS in the start. Remember Florida when Tebow left? They struggled against fucking Ball State!

in week 1, if oregon were playing new mexico or unlv, i would bet the house...ark st may also be a patsy and are inexperienced on d, but they still won a lot of games last year, they are well coached, and they will keep fighting...oregon has not recently been as prolific ats at auzen as they have the past...however, by week 3, i think oregon will be back to kicking ass and taking names ats...

i think oregon will beat stan and win the north...the c-game will be sc v oregon...even with sc's barkley,sc's lack of depth makes that game a toss up...

The way to bet Oregon is Team total over.  Usually second half as well. some games they have started slow

I got to think Chip is more similar to Pete Carol than Urban.  Phil Steele even says although they lose James this remains one of the premier RB units in NCAA

I just can NOT see laying this kind of juice on a wager that Wn't payy off until NOV.   

 I'm not sure qb wont be a problem..........early anyhow. Fortunately for the ducks, they have an easy ooc schedule which will give them some time to settle in before they hit the nuts of their schedule. They'll be able to get by using Barner & DThomas for a few games before they're gonna have to open up their offense.

 DThomas is flat-out scary...
