Listen, I'm a Penn St fan, so it is not in my DNA to say anything positive about Ohio State, however, let's face it, they're going to be damn good this year.  Say what you want about the QB in those big games, but he's back with another year of experience, and having played in the Nat'l Championship game, played in front of 108,000 in Happy Valley, beat Michigan.  Some people value experience, don't you when you place a bet?  Talk to me about the experience of the USC QB?  What????....He was injured last week, oh.  Even if he gets ready, same type of experience? 

Granted Florida and LSU handled Ohio St the last two years.  Ok, but is there shame in getting there two years in a row?  Then traveling to USC in yr three?   Look what happened to the SEC team that traveled there, anyone remember the Arkansas murder out west?  Oh St stepped up and took a huge gamble, and it will pay off.  The Big 10 is down this year, Michigan will be rebuilding, and Wisky will be good but with a suspect qb.  Don't sleep on PSU.  Great O line, and enough speed on the outside to keep teams from stacking the box.  Oh St will win the big 10, PSU 2nd, Wisky 3rd.  OSU will win the whole enchilada this year, and we'll return to these boards to listen to how lucky they were or maybe some folks will wise up and give credit where it is due, it pains me to do so, but right now OSU deserves respect. 

Not even in fantasy land could this happen. Play a game or two in Janurary with your clothes on and you will get plenty of respect.

this is a product of playing one to three teams a year that have a legitimate chance to beat you...one or two quality wins a year doesnt make you a proven team....this shows almost every year OSU plays in a bowl game...

OSU/Mich tickets last weekend. I'm fruckin out of my mind. I wish the game was tomorrow, I got know how I can wait till 11/22.

I am a USC fan.  I will give it to the buckeyes that they should be a great team this year.  I just do not see them coming to the coliseum and walking away with a victory.  They return a bunch of starters but that does not always pan out.  I truly believe that Rey Maualuga is twice the player James Laurinaitis is.  I always hated Booty and thought Sanchez should start last year...I know he is injured but it gets to my point.  No matter who wins the game it will be a great one.  Chris Wells will get his yards but they will not come easy...It boils down to coaching and Pete Carroll has a huge advantage.  The Trojans are year in and out the best team of the last 5 years (LSU has won 2 championships... credit is deserved).  They rarely lose coming out of a bye week. So look out TOSU.  I believe that USC wins a close one 24-20.

I realize your a fan of the Trojans, but there's no manifest evidence to support that statement. Both coaches are more or less equally competent game coaches (with very good assistants) and exceptional recruiters. I have seen nothing to conclude that one possesses a huge advantage over the other.

Since Carroll has been presiding over what is undisputedly the finest stock of collegiate players assembled anywhere in the past 7 years, perhaps Tressel should be given additional credit for attaining an almost identical record over the same time span with slightly less talented players?
