hmmm, why is he such a good coach lets see.  3 National Title games (1 Win) in 7 years.  The win was against one of the "greatest" teams in college football history and he did it with a quarterback by the name of Craig Krenzel.  He had  4 titles at Youngstown State where there is a playoff format.  How bout 5 BCS games in 7 years as a head coach at Ohio State.  How about a 6-1 record against your bitter rival in Michigan including a 42-39 win in the biggest game in the history of the series.  He has compiled some of the best recruiting classes in the past 7 years in the country and landed the biggest qb prospect in the nation.  He has developed players that have had no shot of going to the NFL specifically Craig Krenzel and Troy Smith.  Smith was the last player offered a scholarship by the Bucks and as we know went on to win the Heisman.  He beat Oklahoma State in a bowl game (Oklahoma State was coached by Les Miles at the time) without a quarterback.  Troy Smith was suspended and Justin Zwick was hurt.  Ginn was usually lined up at qb and they won that game 33-7 without a qb. 

So we are going to scrap a game because the team lost in a bowl game after waiting 40 days to play.  We are going to scrap a game where #1 played #2 in the last game of the season in the biggest rivalry in sports.  This statement alone shows you have no grasp on what college football is about.  I am sorry that teams might not hold up but when the game is played there is a different feeling depending on where the team is currently ranked.  How do we take into account the LSU loss to Kentucky?  USC to Stan?  OSU had its only loss to a team that played in the Rose Bowl.

Another case of someone complaining about one call in a 60 minute game.  And what we should do is not call personal fouls in football when the game is close to the end.  Does taking stupid penalties not reflect on the coach?

Tressell* hasn't beaten anyone and he gets killed when matched evenly. This is why OSU* has won 1 title* in the last 40 years, they think this is great.

p.s.- 2004 Oklahoma State?? LMAO  Record in their last 7 games??  2-5 including 16 point losses to Texas A&M at home and at Texas Tech.

Did you not read the thread?  It is an entirely different game when you play without a quarterback don't you think Cane?  Oh wait I guess Les Miles just doesn't know how to beat a team without a qb considering Arkansas basically beat them at home at the end of the season using Mcfadden.

p.p.s.- Developed Troy Smith?? He did everything he could to keep him out of the lineup!!! Tressell* sent Zwick out for the last drive against Texas costing OSU* another shot at getting their ass kicked in a title game.

At 5'10 180 Lbs you're going to tell me he was pro potentital?  Are you going to tell me that the last player offered a scholie would be winning the Heisman?  Do you have any idea of how highly recruited Zwick was?  I agree putting Zwick in at that spot was devastating.

p.p.p.s.- 2007 OSU* says everything about the system and nothing about Tressell*. They didn't beat anybody with a pulse, lost to Illinois at home. Exposed in N.O. 2006 OSU* didn't beat anybody besides a Michigan team that didn't beat anybody. Exposed in Glendale. He "beat" Larry Coker, a case of dumb beating dumber with some help from 1 dumbest official.

You are too funny.  Last year was supposed to be a rebuilding year and the reason Ohio State got a shot at the title was because every other SEC team and every other power house team that you think was so good choked at the end as well.  OSU was exposed by a senior heavy LSU team in New Orleans?   LSU lost to Arkansas, WV lost to Pitt, Mizzou lost to Oklahoma, and the mighty USC lost to Stan. at home as a 41 point fave.  Now you also want to down Coker and Ohio State for beating Miami.  A miami team that was considered one of the best in college football history.
