we have for today 2 teams with sound defenses, although of them both Nd only allowed 20+ to a team in the season and that was in their flucky lucky win vs a horrendous lousy pitt team, bama on the other side only allowed 20+ to the offensive juggernaut T&AM and SEC power house Georgia... now the advantages motivational-- even coaching-- slight edge to saban QB--edge Bama, macarroni has already been here and conquered Defense -- Bama-- why?, well ill explain ahead... RB-- Bama now , why i like the under, 1st of all in order for the irish to have a shot in this one they will need to keep it ugly, and close for pretty much the whole game, so they will need to relly on their defense, but , although they have great athletes, they only played 2 teams with sound running game and stud running backs (michst-stanford) but michst has been onedimensional the whole sason and stanford got robbed, aside that Bama has a stable of RBs that will be hard for ND to contain, and the tide has a seasoned QB, that have enough weapons to throw to,so making the tide one dimensional will be quite difficult, on the other side, if its true ND qb is a dual threat type QB and gave some fits to almost every team they faced, i dont see how the tide wont be able to contain it...after facing heisman winner johny football, they will work on that on how to contain golson... this is the type of team saban wanted to face on the ncg, a team that isnt an offensive juggernaut, that pounds the rock....this is a game that will be won on the trenches and bama has the clear edge.... ND might be the #1 team in the land, but at the end their schedule is horrific and weak as it gets, they are very lucky the bised media and the people likes em.....
schedules ND-- cream-puff,horrible, dreadfull teams : Navy, purdue, miami, pittsburgh, boston college, wake forest. mediocre-average teams: mich-st,michigan,usc,byu,choklahoma good teams: stanford
BAMA-- cream-puff,horrible,dreadfull teams: west kty,Flo Atl,Arkansas,w.car, auburn mediocre-average teams: michigan,mizzou,miss-st,tennesee. good teams: ole-miss( yes they are a good tem although their record shows otherwise ) LSU,T&AM , UGA
meanwhile ND over all beat a bunch of nobodies, having only beaten a team that mattered Stanford, Bama faced slight stiffer opposition, and being honest had ND faced Bama´s schedule they could have easily had 2-3 loses..... although i like bama to roll over hapless irish, under has been golden as of late, i dont see saban airing it out unless he wants to pull away early and then controll the clock late, aither way, if the ground game works enough for him, he will keep it there, on the other side, ND cant score in a hurry and much less in bunches...
