Your Cougs were a road fav last year. With Keenum back, people expect y'all to return to last year's form. With the HFA added in, the line is shifted a good 5-6 points in favor of UCLA. No play for me here.

Yeah i don't blame you for laying off. I expect Keenum to play well, but still could be rusty w/ so much time off. UH has so many weapons on offense, probably the most since the 1998-9 yr season w/ Andre Ware but still a no play until UH has shown to recover from Holgorson's departure. That guy was a genius , WVU is in good hands, and i predict OSU to have a major dropofff.

Good luck this year, Boom Boom...and good luck to Clemson. You're changes to the offensive coaching staff moves are every bit as good as Fla St made to their defensive coaching staff last year. (Now you have to KEEP Caldwell under-employed as an OL coach.)

Of course, I liked Chad Morris as the OC hire. My point about Caldwell is how long can you can keep Caldwell happy as only a position coach? (Or does he have other responsibilities?)

Your a smart man cuse.... Most people dont know how dominate a OL coach Robby Caldwell is, and coach for that matter. Oddly enough, he says he is as happy as he has ever been coaching in his career. I hope he stays for a long time...

an obscene amount of love for Baylor this year, and in this game as a dog... past experience tells me that blows up in everyone's face... but we'll see how it goes!


like the OU play a lot, and looking at Purdue as well...

ice.... Baylor has the better QB the Better overall offense and more experience on the defense...plus there at home as a 7 point dog..

i fully expect them to win SU

I will give you better QB and more experience but we disagree on the result

the stadium will be 50/50 on the crowd so no real home field advantage, more like a neutral site in my opinion

Baylor has some talent but I don't see their offense doing much against a Patterson led defense, they got smothered in this matchup last season and while I don't see TCU putting up near that many points again, I do feel they win at the LOS and with defense, I also think this is a clear coaching edge to TCU as well

this won't be the last time we disagree during the season, hard to always be on the same page

Thus far, kinda liking Mizzou -16,5, E Carolina +21, Cal -10, WV -20.5, Miami -5 , Michigan -14 . Any thoughts on these games?  Also like all your picks, but Baylor may not be ready out of the gate imo.

Train - i do like the Mizz game. just dont understand the line. I would have thought it would have been 21 or more. BTW... Baylor will be ready, there going to be a cash cow this season.

I think a lot is based on the unknown. Mizzou lost 2 top 10 picks (gabbert and aldon smith) and didnt finish the season well (a gross loss to Iowa) . However, James Franklin is gonna be a beast imo at qb. MU has a ton of experience on the O-line and wr and several speedy options at rb. The defense has a bunch of juniors and seniors and should be decent (hopefully ). I like Mizzou to have the cover by halftime and cruise to a 48-13 victory.
