Thanks guys.  Yeah to those of you wanting to know about the VT/BC game...it's still a tough one because we still don't know who Virginia Tech is.  They are as volatile a team as I've seen.

One might think that VT shot their load in this game, and might not be up for the same performance (both on O and D) for BC

...meh, you know what?  Maybe VT didn't look bad in the 1st half of that game against ECU overall.  They did score 21 points.  Maybe their defense just woke up for the 1st time this year in the 2nd half....it's another tough game to call.  

Obviously a big matchup will be the ability for ECU to shut down the UNC pass rush, assuming The Heels pay attention to the VT game.

Its pretty safe to say ECU is not the greatest defensively at this point and for them to stay in any ball game they are going to have to put up a fair amount of points.

So where is UNC's front seven and pass rush stand after all their roster issues? i think that's the key to this ball game

yea lu that was a crazy game.  cant believe how much changed from half to half.  i would take ECU again in that same spot also.  look forward to your next write up.

Rails at TOTS, you def started the weekend off right! Just sucks that it went so wrong for us. I took ECU as well and felt comfortable the Hokies would def. not cover. Just a crazy 2nd half. I think you capped it right as well. Had ECU not gotten 40 yards in penalties on the opening 2nd half drive, they likely would have scored from the 2 instead of settling for a FG from like the 30 yardline.

First let me say that I have read your posts for quite awhile probably dating back to the ECU-Houston championship game last year.  I have to say I really admire your skills as a capper and also as an analyst.  The thing that separates you from 90 percent of everyone on here is you simply deal in information, not hyperbole or what you think is going to happen.  Your analysis is very factually based and unbiased.  I find that many people on here are simply convinced that something is going to or will happen, but really don't have much facts to back it up.  Its like the difference between someone hoping that the sun will come up and someone being certain that the sun will come up and being able to demonstrate it with facts, mathematical theories, etc.  Now don't worry my friend, I'm not going to ask you to explain how your sure that the sun will come up tomorrow...
That being said I have tailed your bets ever since the Houston game LY and I want to say a long overdue thanks and keep up the great work.  Yes, we all got beat last week in heartbreaking fashion.  When I saw 27-21 deep into the 3rd quarter I was over the moon and buying everyone drinks!  However, my joy quickly dissapated into dismay.  That being said, I was unable to watch the game and would like to truly know what happened in the second half of that game?  Not because I want to know who to blame or who to be pissed at, but simply because I believe the second half of this game may hold really significant importance for both teams in the future.  Did VA Tech finally figure it out?  Meaning, were the first 2 games just blips on the radar and now the real VA Tech has finally made its presence known?  On the other hand did ECU's collapse signify a young team who really is not all that good in relation to their 2-0 start?  Just wanted your opinion because I do believe that the second half of this game may hold the key to figuring out both team's success and failures in the future?  Or am I just totally off-base and putting way too much importance on one-half of fottball?  Anyways, keep up the great work man.  And glad to hear you enjoyed your time in Blacksburg.

Someone sent me this video last night.  If you've never been to downtown Greenville, you aught to try to go some time (if you have a team playing against ECU there).  It's a party downtown every night.

It took a pick-6 and then a late 68-yard catch and run TD to cover those points and all in the 4th quarter.  That's certainly a "shit happens" cover.

Anyone who had VT and was confident in the cover at the half - well, I don't believe you.

Having said that, anyone else think VT just hammers BC this weekend? 

 

Actually 2-0 betting in ECU games this year...both team totals.  Tulsa over 41 in week one and over VT 40...skipped the Memphis game completely.  I cant wait to see the UNC team total next week.  Sorry to disappoint you Ludawg, but Im rolling this year (8-0 on team totals)!
