Iowa line dropping? Vs. MINNESOTA? I don't get it?

Why would this line be dropping? It was Iowa -16 yesterday and now at -14.5. I see Iowa winning easily by 3+ TD's.

Gophers can't score and they can't play Defense. That is not a good combo for keeping a game within 14.5 points!

I agree andy,I took Iowa at -16 right away. I used to live in MN and the Gopher program is a real mess now. I have been posting this every week this year,and they Gophers have been getting it handed to them bad. I thought Kill would make a diff,but he inherited a really bad team,and it is going to take time. I&#x27;m glad they extended his contract the other day,but for now MN is a real mess. It has always been a big rivalry between the Hawkeyes and Gophers and believe me Iowa would like nothing better than to pound the Gophers.  Until they do something good,I am fading them every game. Loved Iowa when it opened at -16...Playing for Floyd, Iowa wanting revenge on an embarrassing loss to the Gophers last year..was at the game. the Goofers acted like they won the Big Ten. It was the ONLY home win for the Goofers.

Im waiting til kickoff...if i drops below 14 then im STAYING AWAY...something is up...the Hawkeyes are way too inconsistent and with Michigan and MSU on deck at home, I can see Iowa looking ahead a little and winning by only 7..this reminds me of the game last year they had at putrid Indiana...a DD fav and luckily the Indiana receiver dropped a winning TD pass in the last seconds..Iowa held on for a 5pt win.

With 75% of the public on the Hawkeyes and the line dropping, this has STAY AWAY written all over it.

This year, this hasn&#x27;t meant squat.    Aside from pointing me to Ball in the opener against IU, I can&#x27;t recall a single significant RLM winner this season. Ya it makes no sense to me?  Iowa is going to be out to run it up on the Gophers after losing outright last year.  I bought it down from 15.5 to 13.5 (-150 to buy the two points) and now its at 14.5.  I should have waited and saved some juice but didn&#x27;t see the line dropping?

From Iowa:Well, Iowa could very easily cover this spread, but this Iowa team has a ton of holes. They haven&#x27;t beat anyone to speak of and if you know the Hawkeyes at all and their style of play, they are very conservative. Which allows them to keep it close against better teams, BUT also allows lesser teams to hang around. You can call it revenge or whatever, but Minn still won last year.  Anyway I&#x27;ll be rooting for Hawks, but not betting it either way.BOL
