where i am pretty much going with this, is that it seems as if you are choosing your pick of this game based on ONE regular season game.. if that is the case, you should dig some more.
 
also, i have some goodies for you too:
Longhorns are 9-3 ATS.. PERIOD .. this year.. (from +7 to -35)

I am new here but have been playing the big ten games for 30 years and the BUCS can not win this game lay the points / for another pick tonight take the rapters and the points!  good luck to all!!

Not making my play based in one game...never have never will. Like I stated before I gave many reasons for my play in the games main thread but this one stood out.

I guess we will see in a couple hours.

You didnt mention anything about  the Ohio game... Not hating at all... As I mentioned I am a big ten fan.. being from the midest...
 
it kinda is about the conference... because teams finally get rated how they do in big games outside their conference... I was using the conference as an example why people are hating on OSU...

Baylor was a conference game though..not an out of conference game.
 
Someone asked if OSU was better than OU...well, Im not to sure they are...OU is pretty good...but Cincinnati went into Norman and played OU pretty tough earlier in the year trailing by 8 at half. Cincinnati is as good as as Texas or Ohio State but played a good game on the road. We can make comparisons all day.
 
The type of game Ohio State plays will be important for them covering this game. I used the Baylor game to reference running the ball on Texas could cause the Long Horns some issues.

Fpronk, no time to read entire post but Robert Griffin is a pretty incredible talent. Ran on OK. too. Houdini like at times, wouldn't pin so much on that rushing total against TX. Had approximately 800 yards from the QB position. Not bad for a freshman but he is truly remarkable. And I've seen a good share of elusive atheletes in person and on tv.

My point exactly Boha...nice to know you know that some can understand my point of view. Pryor is a similiar player plus the Bucks have a healthy Beanie Wells who reminds me of Brandon Jacobs. Instead of one rushing threat like Griffen the Bucks have two.

Texas has an underrated defense.  They will sack Pryor at least 4 times probably causing 1 or 2 fumbles.  This will mean more trouble for OHIO st.  They will go away from the run even more when behind.  ALA Minnesota Vikings.  Ohio St has great d but you can't stop a highly motivated and talented QB.  He has seen this d before.  He also remembers losing to them his freshman year.  He can prove why he was second in the Heismann.  Should have won in my opinion.  Come on the guy led his team in rushing.  Texas seniors are ready to prove they should be the champs.  And they could still be 1st if they play well enough.

bobby, Texas may win but will they cover? Remember a lot of guys have this line a +10.5 all the way down to +8...so they may win but do they cover?

Baylor was pretty tough this year.  Chris Wells is a beast.  over 1,000 yards and he was out for 3 games.  Damn!  You need to have a QB who is throwing the ball with success.  Ohio State doesn't have that.  They have bad history of preparing for these big games and Tressel will be nervous again if the game is even a little close.  Ohio State will need at least one big trick play to have any chance.  Ohio State does have some great Defense but if Colt gets 9 or 10 possessions he will score 4 or 5 touchdowns.

I don't like Texas too much at 10.5 or 11.  I have 8.5 and I think Texas will cover the 8.5.  I keep thinking about the OHst and Penn st game and I can't see Ohio St keeping up with Texas.  Too many yards for Chris to run.  Pryor and Boeckman will get sacked left and right.  Ohio State allowed the most sacks and Texas D led the nation in sacks.  Is that a GEM of a stat or what?

bobby, each game is a new game. Every situation is different...didn't anyone learn anything from OLE MISS beating FLA or TECH...or what about Oregon beating OK STATE and UTAH running BAMA.
 
Toss historical games out the window...sure Bucks have not done well on the big stage but not a reason to bet against them.
 
It will be interesting.
