-I think Wisconsin is going to be very good this year. They return most their team, their defense is going to be scary, and they have quarterback who is a star in the making. Prob the best QB in the BIG right now. Penn ST is going to be good as well second only behind OSU in the east, but Wisconsin has a good chance to go undefeated to the BIG Championship and could give OSU a very good game.
Ole Miss -7.5 vs Louisville
-Love Ole Miss this year. Should again have one of the highest powered offenses in the SEC and a defense that isn't great, but better than they were last year. Louisville should be able to score but I do not trust them in the turnover battle. I like the Lane Train to cruse week 1!
Iowa +4.5 @ Iowa St.
-Iowa State is going to be a good team again this year and has all kinds of offensive weapons. Iowa State is simply not going to beat Iowa in the trenches. They never do. I like Iowa money line and +4.5 is a gimme.
Utah -7.5 @ BYU
-Lets face it, BYU lost a ton. Utah returns a ton and brings in a top notch QB in Brewer. Give me Utah -7.5
Heisman darkhouse:
Graham Metz +8000
Wisconsin will be favored in everyone of their games this season and I really think they open up the passing attack for this kid. If Wisconsin goes undefeated to the BIG championship game (I think there is a good chance) I believe that Metz has to be in the Heisman discussion.

Agreed on Ole Miss, I've got them 3rd in the west behind Bama and A&M but they will have a realistic shot to upset both of those teams with their offense.

Seen any line on the UW/UM game? A buddy said he heard the Huskies were favored by 2.5 right now but I can't find that. Even so, I would expect that to flip by Sept.

i see PFF has a detailed ranking of all the CFF teams for this season.
michigan is #25, washington #28........ game is in michigan. so i'd say Mich by 4.
i see conflicting signs. this is the type of game where Harbaugh has delivered in the past....... but the trend, recent data doesn't back that up.
washington has a QB battle, and is picking up alot of impact transfers on defense (that was already pretty good). but i'd like to see which transfers show up and can play right away.
basically, 2 close teams so i'd say home team should be small-median favorites.... maybe the UNDER. offense<defense for both teams.

Would have to give the Badgers the nod vs Penn St.
Clifford is ....ok at QB, Mertz a much higher ceiling. Add to that a new OC for the Lions means new offensive schemes for game #1. Off. edge Wisc.
Penn St defense lost Parsons last year and he meant a lot! Their defense gave up record pts last yr. They have some transfers to help but they're not the same as 2019.
Wisc. D has nose tackle Benton and I really like DC Leonhard. Defensive edge Wisc.
It was said Mertz hurt his shoulder and that's why he lost his touch after smashing Illinois. Also had a covid positive. If he plays like that first game last year they could be battling for the Big10 championship.
Ohio State just has ALL THE TALENT. Only QB is questionable and they are highly rated. Stroud can run, can he pass? Only Oregon has any chance of beating the Buc's in the regular season.

How good is the Michigan defense is what I want to know! Going to a 3-4 it appears. They have some beef now up front now, missing in 2019. And they added that kid from Jackson State, WR Baldwin. At 6'3" that gives the Wolv's two WR's over 6'2". Can't remember last time they had two that tall, always short!! Maybe they MIGHT just be able to stretch the field for once. So far not a fan of Gattis as OC.
Huskies have huge O-line, may just have an ole fashion pound'em game if Mich. offfense can't move the ball. Wash. doesn't turn the ball over and are sound fundamentally. Right now I give the nod to Washington.
