By far and away this kid is the best player is CFB...He deserves the Heisman....

Spiller is a solid choice, but I'd go with Ingram too

This is by far the dumbest comment I have ever read. A Hell of a lot better??? Spiller leads the nation in all purpose yards. Even if you dont think he is the best, no one is a hell of a lot better. Spiller has explosive speed that Ingram doesnt. Also look at who is around Spiller and who Ingram has. Spiller has had a TD of over 50 yards in every game but one and a TD in every game period. My vote would be for Spiller as I truly think he is the best player and the most important to their team, period!!

CJ Spiller is ranked 42nd in rushing yards with 836 YPG and 5.5 per attempt...He has 382 Receiving yards and 10 Total TD's

Ingram is 5th in total rushing yards with 1297 total yards and 6.7 yards per attempt... He has 255 total yards receiving and 13 total TD's... 

I might be an idiot but those numbers to do not lie... Ingram averages 1.2 more yards per carry and has 3 more total TD's...My vote is Ingram...

Good Job, I would leave out CJ's punt and kickoff stats also...lol

Spiller has 16 kickoffs for 543, avg of 33.9, and 3 TD's....Spiller also avg 31 yrds per punt return and a TD, but I guess that doesnt matter huh?

I could see how you would say Ingram is a hell of a lot better...good call

And just in case you were wondering he leads the nation in avg in both of those return categories....but I guess the Heisman voters will not notice that...lol

Also, His Special Teams Stats are off the Chart..

Also, Teams are surrendering the ball at midfield now because they won't kick to this kid...


Teams will not kick nor punt to him.... I watched NCST kick a 6 yd punt last Saturday because they were scared out of there mind..

Not to mention they kicked a onside kick to start the game...fearing he would take it to the house...

Will He win it......Odds say no  But make no Mistake he is one of the most dynamic players college football has ever seen.

Nope didn't forget that...ESPN did not have that in their stats I was looking at...... So even with that they are tied with TD's and CJ leads by about 150 total yards when Ingram does not even return kicks... I agree it can not be ignored but in all Honestly CJ will not be in the race at all...

Oh I am not degrading him at all.. He is great and will be great in the NFl... I am not saying he shouldn't win it at all but when compared Ingram has better stats of what they both do where CJ Excels is in the Kickoffs that Ingram does not do.... I am not saying to throw those stats out at all though, just compring what those 2 both do...

What I am also looking at is where was he in their loses?? 

Gt he had 87 Rushing yards 69 Receiving

TCU he had 112 rushing and 79 receiving

Maryland he had 72 rushing and 7 receiving...

In those 3 games he had 2 total TD's... A Heisman IMO steps up and has a monster game when his team is in danger... In those 3 loses Spiller did not step up...Does that mean he is not a Heisman canidate?? No, but it does make you think..

im sure my opinion will not be respected by some given my avatar, but i will give it anyway. I would say Ingram over Spiller for this reason. Ingram goes against the best defenses in the country week in and week out and consistently produces at a high rate for one of, if not the best team in the country. His durability is incredible, and he is crucial to Bama's success on a weekly basis.

Spiller is electric, dont get me wrong, and im sure he will put up some big plays on my team, but if you watch their games, he has about 6-8 runs of 0-2 yard gains for every big play he breaks, hence his relatively low ypc average. His durability has also been an issue. I am also tired of everyone comparing his stats to Reggie Bush saying Spiller is better. Bush only played 3 years, Spiller played 4. Spiller also plays for a 3 loss team. That being said, both are great players and I hope we dont kick to Spiller next week, but i think he will not be seriously considered in the final Heisman voting

Ok now that we got that cleared up. Im not denying Ingram but for you to act like Spiller has no chance is completly ignorant. He has a great shot and is on everyone's Heisman list. So unless you know something that I dont then let me know??

Im so tired of stupid SEC fans talking about how the go against the best week in and week out. If thats the case explain to me why Bama has so far only played one team that is currently ranked??? People get over it, every conference plays conference games tough!!!!

Ok you want to be a jackass?? I just seen 3 TD's and did not see yo u mention a punt return TD... But let me let you in on a little secret... Spiller is not gonna win because his team has 3 loses.. Look at the last few winners... They have all come from a team that was going to the Championship game... So if Bama beats UF I would be willing to bet Ingram wins it... If UF beats Bama I think McCoy wins it.... Call me crazy but that is how I see it.. Once again I am not discounting Spiller at all... I am not putting him down so do not take it like that, just looking at the past that is all..

How did Spiller do last year in that Bama game sir?? Let me refresh you.. He had 7 rushing yards, ya 7..... He had 152 yards in returns which includes a kick off return for a TD... So what say you about SEC teams and their defenses?? Thought so and how all mights Spiller is against them?? Thought so..

Listen I know your a Bama homer and I figured you wouldnt respon to my actually comment about how Bama has only played one ranked team all year, even though they play in the mighty, rough, and tough SEC...lol...also im pretty sure we are talking about this year and not last year. Spiller wasnt the feature back last year but I guess you forgot that also and OMG you must be an idiot to mention that game, I know clemson lost badly but we are talking about Spiller who ran back a 96 yard kickoff for a TD!! Please respond, lol.....You must be very forgetful

I love Spiller, but Ingram is ahead of him, easily. I;m not saying he's better, but Ingram deserves it over Spiller.

Not a huge fan of special teams yards. Him being the 42nd ranked back in yards kills any shot he has.

But he'll be better at the next level.
