Right, so you are using an ad hominum argument. You are attacking Younger and his team rather than making points on why Ball State should be ranked in the top 25 and Younger is wrong in his assertion.

As a Ball Sate Alumni I can say that you have to have humor with a guy like dyounger.  Although it is kind of funny, it's too bad that someone has to pick on this team for succeeding.  These players and coaches are playing the opponents set before them.  In the past 5 years they have played Boston College, Nebraska, Auburn, Georgia Tech, Purdue and Michigan out of conference.  They manged to get a couple of those teams off the schedule to try and have a big season, and it worked.  There sure is alot of discussion about them isnt there?
 
The Cardinal fans understand that even a 12-0 season will not probably not put them in a bcs bowl game.  However, if a team like this can have a breakout year, and follow it up with another winning season, then people will respect them.  ( see Utah, TCU, Boise St). 
 
I would just watch who your clowning, becasue this years Ball State could be next years Utah, and I gaurantee your precious Bulldogs would not want them on their schedule right now.

Ball State is a top 25 team because of Nate Davis. Watch the game tonight, this kid is always a shoe-in for 2 plus tds, but the reason he is special is he does not make mistakes with the football. Last year, he was among ncaa leaders in td/turnover ratio, and this year he is up there again. dyounger bases his opinion about Ball State solely by looking at their weak schedule, and that is just wrong. I guarantee dyounger has not seen this team play at all this year. And PLEASE, cool it with mockingly calling them the "national chanps", no one ever said they were even close to that category. But I urge all of you to tune in tonight, you will see the argument I am making!

I'm a Ball Sate Alum Also. Yeah this is a rare year were we actually have a good football team. Don't get carried away. Yes it's great to see Ball State undefeated but make no mistake about it if Ball State played Georgia they would get fucking crushed. Ball State has no Defense. Moreno would rush for 300 yards on this D. Plus Stafford would throw it all over the yard on them. Georgia has a D fense. An SEC defense.
 
Davis is a great QB and it was sad to see Donte Love ( a legitimate heisman canidate) football career end tragically by injury. Yes I am enjoying Ball State actually having a good undefeated season so far. Yes it doesn't happen very often but I'm sorry you don't go from a middle of the pac mac team to an Elite Sec program like Georgia in a couple years.

I will say this though. Ball has been better against the spread than Georgia this year.

Johnny, I agree Georgia would crush them. But the reason people are hating on Ball State is simply because they are not in a powerhouse conference. For instance, I do think Ball State beats SEC teams like Auburn and the Volunteers. But your right, Ball State can't stop the run and Moreno would have a field day....

dyounger and mazdaspeed, let me just be clear and honest when I say that you are probably two guys that think you know all there is to know about college football..when in reality you know very little about much of anything. Trashing a team like Ball State without having seen them play is just ridiculous. Please, for your next post, maybe you two can put your heads together and actually come up with a logical thought! But after reading some of the posts that you guys have come up with have realized that probably is not going to happen...

geez so many peeps said that n ill was going to win and i bet one unit on them. damn. happily i saw that ball was too strong for n ill to get through the defense so i took ball st for the second half for 10 unit at -3. :) hope u guys all won.

Ball State just beat Northern Illinois by 31 points. Tennessee beat Northern Illinois by 4 points. Georgia beat Tennessee by 12 points.
 
That means Ball State beats Georgia by 2 touchdowns!
