Schiano's terrible playcalling took the Freshman QB Savage out of rhythm, he looked good in the 1st Q, Army's D could not stop Rutger's if they spread it out every play IMO, but Schiano is terrible, lets see what the 2H plays are.

over 3 minutes and 3 timeouts and Rutgers can only get 10 yards.

Army has 16 passing yards, they take too much time and are very uncreative to score points enough to come back.

OK, he was offered the Miami job as well as Michigan and will be offered the Penn St job when the time comes.  I'm sure he has been offered other nice jobs as well that wasn't made public.

those programs are fortunate not to have gotten him; i remember another guy he reminds me of.  John Mackovic, texas loved his ass; flop; arizona couldn't wait to get him, flop

My 2H play is O 18. If the 2H does not go O 18 then Schiano should be fired.... Rutgers can score 3 TDS alone in the 2H if Schiano makes any adjustments.. GL everybody 

O 18 3 units to win 3 units

guys like Shiano are good at getting hired; over rated as coach..... he had only one way to go at Rutgers; he recruited and was lucky with that. give him equal talent and he will not even be a footnote in the (_o_) of football coaching (anals)

They run the ball almost everytime so bringing up their passing game means nothing.  I know Rutgers and they very rarely do anything easy.  +4.5 is a gift.

That was then. Schiano was stupid for not taking those jobs because the longer he's at Rutgers, the more he'll be exposed as a bad coach. The guy only wins 8 games a year b/c he plays crap noncoference every year. Once Big East play begins, he is worthless.

I'm on Rutgers -10'

Army  is overmatched on the O and D line. Their 6'10 receiver has hands like a bricklayer, and their running game is hit and miss. Mostly miss right now.

If Rutgers can keep from self-destructing with bad play calling or turnovers, they should cover.

Are you watching the game? If Schiano was a half decent coach his team would have put up at least 2 more TDS before the half against this terrible team..

Schiano will not be hired by a top-tier D1 team EVER!

And I think it is funny if you are seriously giving him credit as being a good coach, that is actually the funniest thing I have hear all day!

team total for army 2nd half is 7 with under at -140 and rutgers at 10.5 and over at -150.....

Rutgers was one of the five worst programs in CFB for decades before he got there.  They are now more than respectable and he is the reason for that.  You guys are clueless how bad the Rutgers program was before he got there.  All he needs is a couple top 100 players and they will be a big time team.  He still is not at that point where top 100 players will come to the program but he is getting there.

why should rutgers be up more? If anything they should be up less....blocked punt changed everything and nobody has scored since....should be 10-3 imo......

We think alike ATL, if Schiano was hired for Penn State or Miami and was coaching them this season there is probably a good chance he is already fired IMO.

Rutgers should be up more because Army is terrible.. Rutgers is a way more talented team, but Schiano does not understand how to call a solid offensive game when your team is way faster and more athletic than the other team, he isn't exploiting Army's terrible team speed and below average athleticism..

In one breath 165 says this is the type of game Rutgers will shoot themselves in the foot and win by only 3. Then in the next breath he says Schiano is a good coach.

Those 2 statements contradict each other.
