To reiterate your point it makes good sense. The books also know that, good cappers, stinkin' degens, etc. the whole group love to be glued to the scoreboard and see how they are doing at the end of first half. The way I see it, books will take a bit of a hit with siena covering 1st half be up by approx 4-6 points IMO. Then when the second half line comes out, both full-game takers have a dilemma: do we let siena ride for siena backers with a pk line (or similar) or hedge our bets and take Iona? Same can be said for Iona backers down 4-6pts @half and contemplating what the hell to do. They will be hard-pressed to lay down and do nothing, prob they'll take Siena and call it a day to break even, minus vig. This way books make a shitload of 2nd half $$ either way came goes. Sometimes lines are set-up 2b set-up, at least that's my take worked saturday night with some late games gonna try siena 1st half only laying a 2.5 spread. Nothing is a sure-thing but going with this for now. Also, Siena's game vs this Iona team had the making of a blowout, but Siena relaxed 2nd half and gave almost all the lead back. I look for similar results, and siena is playing good consistent basketball. Home court IMO doesnt really count for shit with stadiums that hold 2500 fans, provided of course they all show up as well. BOL to all.
