They have 5 seniors who play, 3 starters returning for team that made the NCAA's last year, the first time since 1992. They are the 2 time regular season NEC champ. They seem to lose the conference player of the year every year and replace him. Last year it was Tony Lee, this year its Jeremy Chappell. Former JUCO transfer Rob Robinson looks to fill the void and could have an NEC player of the year credentials come years end. If sharp shooter Jimmy Langhurst who hits 85% from the charity stripe can knock down 3's(42.3% last year) he can make Cuse honest. The Colonials do have players who can score in the paint, Dallas Green and Robinson. A team like Albany has little scoring pop and they make defense a point of emphasis. This Orange team is still coming together. Le Moyne diced the Orange in man-to-man defense they played more zone against Albany. Bobby Mo will get chances to score. I don't think the Orange will blow out a tough and scrappy team like Robert Morris.

I like Bobby Mo for the following reasons,

I agree with everything you said- but i have additional info that is making me lean towards Robert Morris +18
yes robert morris won the NEC last year....yes they're returning three starters and have some depth off the bench....and yes they played syracuse to a close 87-81 loss in the Syracuse, NY Dome-a year ago.
but watching syracuse's game against albany earlier this week- SU's three point threat Andy Routins rolled his ankle early in the second half and did not return- I don't have any info on whether or not he'll be playing in this game- but anyone who's played sports knows that it'll be nagging him tonight.
Also...SU's freshman pt guard Trische stinks....
What to worry about- SU's frontcourt is huge with Onuaku and Jackson....both guys down low will have about 40lbs on the Bigs for Robby Mo- Also- the transfer from Iowa State Johnson looked good in his debut for SU
With all that said- I expect this spread to be really close- 83-69 Cuse
But given their past score and Robert Morris' tough play from a year ago I gotta take them and the points.
RMU +17.5

Are you kidding me... Rob Morris +18 all day every day. A team that went 24-11 last year that didn't really lose anybody... Come on! Gotta love the early NCAA lines because once January comes linesmakers usually wake up on teams like this.
