First time poster here nropp!.....Your writeups are impeccable....You have tremendous insight....As a veteran of this business, I used to do tons of handicapping and I can tell you that you have the 'feel and knowledge'....Those 2 things can't just be taught....And on here there will always be assholes....If they lose a 10 buck bet they act like children who didn't get their way, and even worse....But the vast, vast majority of us appreciate you and all that you do....Keep up the good work bud!..

In terms of the people who jump all over you when your picks lose, it's kinda like the assholes that honk at you from the protection of their cars. I followed one to a shopping center parking lot the other day and kicked the panel in on his door when he didn't have the guts to step outside. Next I followed him home and now know where he lives. After a little surveillance I have discovered he lives in the basement of his parents home. Such a similarity to the idiots that are always hating on here.

I like Cleveland State as I think they have the Horizon wrapped up. Better spots might be a few days away when they have revenge home games against their only two Horizon losses this year back-to-back. They defend the guard slot extremely well, and they should hold Kreps in check. Speaking of Kreps, they have little to no guard depth and he's being forced to do just about everything. He is physically built to take it, but it's going to catch up at some point. Since November 19 (third game of year), here is his minutes played:

Kid is coming off a three game roady where he played 115 out of a possible 120 minutes. As a team against top 100 defenses this year, UIC has scored more than 60 only once. And in those games, Kreps is 12/42 from the floor. He only got 8 shot attempts the first two times these teams played.
As for Michigan State, they've beaten only a handful of teams by more than 10:
Eastern Michigan
Tennessee Tech
Bowling Green
Prairie View A&M
They just aren't good this year as I pointed out Day 1. The big thing that comes into play here, is the loss of Lucious. Most will think this will have an impact, but I don't believe so. He is extremely replaceable, might even be better off. Probably some value on the Spartans the next few without him based off public opinions.

I don't think its necessarily a fact that they had similar players, but more important that they both played a similar style defenses. Both offenses were good enough to score against the other b/c both have gone against it in practice on a daily basis. Your comment on the tall/small or quick/slow I don't believe to be true in every instance necessarily. It would depend more on each of the team's defensive styles. If Team A is HUGE and Team B is Small and Quick, they would have an advantage in transition, but if Team A slows the pace, Team B is going to have a tough time getting in the paint with their quickness in the half court set.
As for Georgia, I think they have been playing a bit more up and down but it could have been b/c of the matchups they saw. Some teams they will want to run with in the conference, some they wont. It just depends. All it takes for a bit of the mid-tier big conference teams to start winning ballgames is a bit of confidence. Once they find their stride, they'll be more apt to stick with what works. They've been so up and down in the up and down SEC that not really sure what you're going to expect.

What is the average number of free thows, fg's, and 3's attempted in a game. You are always talking about the number of shots taken but I am not sure what is high and what is low. Thank you!
