Totals this season?

Question

OK so I play a lot of totals in NCAA BB and have noticed my book hasn&#x27;t been posting many totals at all...I think today the only game they put one up on was the Texas game.  Anyone else have the same problem with their book or know the reasoning behind this?  BTW I use VIP.com and they have in the past always had totals on every NCAA BB game except the "added games"

Books are scared to throw out totals this year, and if they do put them out it is with low limits because they have been getting crushed on them, especially by RAS. They for whatever reason just don't know where to send these numbers out at and that is why when they do send out the numbers they move about 6 pts regularly.

They sent totals for Friday i believe and got hammered. They may only be sending out numbers for TV games for a little while.

Well thats not good to hear but I&#x27;m not that suprised...probably will be January before we see totals on a regular basis.  My book didn&#x27;t put a total out on the UAB game Friday afternoon until 15 mins before tipoff

unless the game is on, they really won&#x27;t do it unless its a big team playing a halfway decent one. remember, almost 20% of the games today didn&#x27;t even have lines. The next week it will pick up, full swing once football ends really next weekend

Bracks...something a lot of gamblers may not know I'll go ahead and post on here about NCAA BB "lined games"

In order for Vegas to put a line on a game BOTH teams playing in any game MUST be from one of the following conferences,

ACC, Atlantic 10, Big East, Big Sky, Big 10. Big 12, Big West, Colonial Athletic, Conference USA, Horizon League, Ivy League, MAAC, MAC, Missouri Valley, Mountain West, Ohio Valley, Pac 10, Southern, SEC, Sun Belt, WAC, or West Coast Conference.

The non lined conferences include the remaining 10 conferences plus the independents.

The only exception to this rule of Vegas is when one of the non lined conference teams plays in some sort of tournament like the preseason NIT or any of these little nit pick pre season tournys we see throughout November and December then that game involving "lined" or "non lined" teams will still have a line put on it.

An example is today Belmont (Atlantic Sun) comes from a non lined conference but is playing in the ATHLETES IN ACTION BASKETBALL CLASSIC which is a tournament in which any school involved has a line.

Hawaii (WAC) comes from a lined conference but plays Mcneese State (Southland) from a non-lined conference and it's not in any type of a tournament so there is no line on that game.
