a really difficult opener for the panthers who snuck up on everyone last year .picked 9th in big east. went way above there heads ,getting a 3 seed and finishing 25-9. 25x they held opponents under 70, and 18x they held opponents to 60 or less. they will probably line up with gilbert brown,aston gibbs, wanamaker, mcgee and redshirt frosh zanna who at 6 ft 9 will do alot of dirty work rebounding and playing d. whats really good about dixons team is going to be a bench who are pushing for time. woodall spent the summer taking 1000 shots a day and his point guard play,penetration and shooting are vastly improved, lamar patterson at 6ft 5 is a redshirt frosh who lost 20 lbs this year and dixon says hes really playing well. throw in a very athletic frosh 6ft 6 j.j moore whois already a fan favorite, and i would call him an explosive offensive talent.shooting, dunking and slashing. i really respect the rams and i think they will show up. i dont like the number. i like the total to go over 136. im guessing there will be alot of fast break points and maybe a few extra foul shots. pitt 79-70.
