Tom Izzo has been ready for a while to get out of Big Ten play and face someone different. Michigan State looked more impressive against Valpo than Memphis did against St. Mary's. Michigan State can beat Memphis from inside, outside, five percent better than Memphis from the free line, rebounding, bench, and the huge coaching advantage, as well as playing in Auburn Hills. Izzo for the most part gets the most out of every single player at this time of the year. Michigan State has played a lot tough schedule than Memphis as well. Seven teams made the Tournament...Michigan in the sweet 16 and Wisconsin sent home. So, 7-1 in NCAA Tournament games straight up thus far. Izzo in the round of 32 is an impressive 17-3. Memphis had a nice win against St. Mary's but struggled to put them away towards the end. This year they have also played Louisville, Minnesota, and VCU all teams in the NCAA Tournament. Two point win against St. Mary's. VCU loss by 13. Louisville loss by 9 at home. Loss to Minnesota by 9. With all this being said I think Michigan State wins by 10.
