No play on AUB. I am very funny when it comes to backing a SEC team and we have one on the road now. If this is a close game which very well could be I am not going to take the chance at getting beat by poor FT shooting...

USF ML -165 (5U)

UVA was atrocious last season in defense, scoring margin, fg percentage, defensive fg percentage, and 3 point shooting. I understand bringing in Bennett there going to go no where but up. As of now going up is no where in the mix. A month from now maybe. How many points did they give up to Longwood? Now they head out on the road to play a revenge minded USF team that is much improved. Not looking to good.

Gilchrist should have a monster game today where virtually UVA will have no one to step in and stop him. 3 key players are out tonight for UVA. USF is a team looking to improve and they have made strides. This team is building it around there defense and rebounding. Like I have said these 2 things I take very seriously when betting college basketball as they will give me a better chance at covering games. Should be a good one one but USF pulls away late with there inside match-ups...

One more thing on USF. They are 9-3 last 12 SU in home openers.

IND ST +11 (2.5U)

As for my beloved Sycamore what can I say this team in very slim upfront. The game will come down on how they can hit the glass. If they can compete they have a great shot at stealing this one or losing by a slim number. If most do not know Lathan will not be playing tonight due to a 2 game suspension. Is this a big loss I think so as it is another good guard out of the lineup along with the decision to red shirt the 4 freshman.

LSU is going to want to push the tempo but defensively I think we will be ok to hold are on against this SEC team. Jake Kelly will have to have a big game and I think he will as he is one of the most underrated big Point Guards in the country. The kid can is elusive and can beat anyone off the dribble with his cross over. He will break down this LSU defense and kick it to the open man or take it his own to get a easy 2 or get to the line. As LSU will have to collapse and help on Kelly that is going to leave open shooters on the perimeter and like I said there is about 10 guys on our roster that can flat out shoot it from deep. Here is some thing I talked about with one of the players below from yesterday.

IND ST landed in Louisiana yesterday mid-afternoon. He says from watching film and the game plan they have put together they have a great shot at winning. Said "Mitchell and Spencer will take 70% of the shots for LSU and we plan to cut the head of the monster by forcing other guys to take shot. We plan to double Mitchell or Spencer most of the game."

He says LSU love to play fast from watching the film and the over could have some strong value. I will have a write up later on this game. Just wanted to drop some info off.

All in all this will come down to there ability to limit Mitchell and Spencer from going off. ISU is going to have to hold there own on the glass. If they cant get to as close to 50/50 on the boards we will be in trouble. I like our ability to shoot the ball as we will surprise people. I honestly think Kelly could sniff a triple double tonight as his play and leadership will be very pivotal in this match-up. You got to remember also our leading scorer from last season in Marshall will have less attention this season with Kelly coming in. Marshall should have a much easier time getting shots off through the offense. Marshall is also a lock down defender.

We have been a team in recent years that can be very sneaky on the road and when catching double digits. I expect that trend to continue tonight as we may not win but 11 is way to many against a soft LSU team...

See you got in on USF... I think Glichrist might crunch them to, although I disagree on them being much improved. It's going to be a close game, but I think USF is the right play
