Texas "may" be the inferior team, but Baylor is worse on the road, almost lost to WVA.  This being their last home game, I would think that they have a lot to play for.  

Yea both coaches are horrible but Barnes > Drew slightly.

i think this texas squad will  NOT  compete to any teams in missouri valley conference this year

missouri valley  is the most underrated conference this season

trust  me fellas texas is done for the season at this point ,,,,,, even if they play hard against baylor tommorow they dont have enough talent to beat baylor

no way im gonna put money to an imferior team with nothing to play for against very frustrated squad like baylor ,remember the heart breaking lost against kansas st this past weekend ?

Are you an actual human being? Texas would've packed it in had Kabongo not been back this year. If you haven't noticed (which you haven't) they're playing with renewed energy and when you're not making the NCAA's in 2013, you need other tangible targets to meet... one would be putting the nail in Baylor's coffin and ticketing them for the NIT.

You're such a slapnuts... go play in traffic please.

Of course ,,coaches will let all available players on the court but Texas does not hava enough talent to beat Baylor even if they try hard still not enough ,,,,in all sports you can not assume a team to perform well if they don't have the talent to deliver

Is baylor even going to get in the tourney by beating texas? no. what do they have to play for in this game? both teams want to get this season over with but texas has seniors playing their last ever home game. let reservoir dog lose his money on this and take texas.

Texas is 11-3 on sr night during the Rick Barnes era, UT holds a 15-6 mark in Big Monday home gms. Nine of the 15 victories have come against AP Top 25 teams. Texas is 26-7 vs baylor during the Rick Barnes era. The Bears won the first meeting this season, 86-79, in overtime on Jan. 5 to open Big 12 games, so we have revenge. The Longhorns are 127-18 (.876) record against in-state rivals during the Barnes era. Since Myck Kabongo returned to the lineup, UT is 3-3, but all 3 losses were against ranked opponents. Kabongo leads the
team in scoring (16.7 ppg), assists (5.0 apg), steals (nine) and minutes (36.8 mpg) this is a lookahead/sanwich game for baylor, possible letdown as well. Heartbreaking loss to kstate now travel to tx then back home for thier sr night vs ku.

Baylor and Texas collide tonight in Austin, and this sure looks like two teams traveling in somewhat opposite directions right now. The Longhorns have been tabbed as a disappointment this season by some, but I think that's a bit ridiculous. They're an incredibly young team and they had to endure playing most of the season without their most talented player. Texas has improved lately and I like the guts the team has shown in a few recent contests. On the other hand, there's little I can say that would qualify as positive about Baylor. The Bears have a very talented roster, but they're just a flat out dumb team at times. They have also played themselves out of the NCAA Tournament by losing four of their last five. The Bears are still capable of climbing back into the conversation with a win here and against Kansas, plus a run in the Big 12 tourney. But based on the most recent performances, that's pretty difficult to envision right now. On paper, Baylor ought to win this game. But this is not a team I'm going to endorse currently, and I can see the Longhorns squeezing out a satisfying home win. Texas plus the points gets the nod.

Bad spot for Texas.? It's a horrible spot for Baylor who lost at the buzzer wit their season on the line.   They won't get off the bus

Since R DOG is cruising along at a 34.8 winnning percentage since Feb 1, I have to believe he's due for a 3-10 run after hitting two in a row to maintain his fine performance. GO HORNS
