The only problem with McLemore is his passiveness. Always defers to the seniors, and during the OKST game he was no where to be found. I think he was scared to have the team on his shoulders and possibly get swept by OKST. McLemore does have one of the purest jump shots I have seen. Needs to work on creating off the dribble though.

I mostly agree with your point........although what some would call "passive" others might refer to as "good shot selection".
He's a team player and that is mostly evidenced by his play on the defensive side of the floor. His shots come within the flow of the Kansas offense. I personally believe Self should alter his offenses a bit, particularly in late game/shot clock situations to clear out for McElmore. Put Withey on the weak side or high post and spread shooters around. If help comes for McElmore he kicks that way, if not he gets a one on one match-up.......
All that said, Self's formula has worked pretty well for him and this team
