Perfect time for one of the least experienced teams in the nation to suffer a letdown. Kansas is coming off of a win against #14 Tennessee and their win was more than deserved. They outplayed them in every aspect of the game. Their defense was average but their offense took advantage of Tennessee's subpar defense, and that was the key for Kansas in this matchup. Today they have to face Siena, a team with a very underrated defense and probably the most disciplined but still agressive defense they've seen so far this season. They are creating tons of turnovers without fouling a lot. Kansas has faced four teams this season that were either good in creating turnovers or defending without fouling, and Kansas went 1-3 SU and ATS against them, and Siena is the very first Kansas opponent that is actually able to do both. They are also battle tested having played against Tennessee, @ Pittsburgh and against Oklahoma State so far this season.Their tournament experience from last season as well as their road games against Memphis and Syracuse add to their overall maturity. They are 15-6 ATS in last 21 as underdogs. Kansas should be favored by 15-17 here, hence a huge public support for them in this game that situates them in a 4-10 ATS group year-to-date.

Bird - Congrats on La Tech my man...I had a small write-up in another thread last night about how they could possibly pull the upset over Hawaii last night and they came pretty damn close.
Loving Purdue tonight with a short line on the road. Penn St sill doesn't scare me much at home with their offense strictly coming from Pringle, Battle & Cornley occasionally when he shoots well.
I'm leaning toward Ohio St at this point with this line probably reaching DD's at some point today. MSU is obviously the better team...but they have a tendency to get in foul trouble put teams in the bonus fairly early...their always aggresive on the offensive boards which gets their bigs some cheap fouls. I also noticed Ohio St playing like complete shit at Minny but still being scrappy enough to cover a DD line.
Illinois St is my POD. Bradley just doesn't scare me enough to get me to bite...ISU is the best team in this conference and if Iguchi & Eldridge are on...they roll. Eldridge is a streaky player...he goes 3-4 poor games...then fires back with 3-4 good ones. He just had his 2nd straight good game...so hoping tonight is his 3rd.
Completely agree with Bama...those points are lovely. Clemson has the ability to crush Bama when their on and their bigs are performing. Key to beating them is being just as physical...if you hold your own against Sykes & Booker it makes Rivers & Oglesby an easier cover.
UTEP +8 love them...I have ESPN Full-Court or whatever and was on New Mexico when they went to NMSU and I predicted to you that they'd win...but I wasn't impressed how it happened. They only won because they owned NMSU on the boards (Which I also predicted) but that wont happen against UTEP & Jackson. They have only 1 scorer who can get his own and that's Danridge. Gary their PG is a tiny little guy who wont be to check Culpepper...they have a very young center in Faris who is relentless on the offensive boards...but has no jump shot and very unpolished on the block. NMSU kept doubling down on him which opened up Martinez & McDonald for open 3's....that wont happen tonight with Jackson's ability to check him 1-on-1. Good chance they win SU...could be doggy of day.
Wow, feels like I just did my own write-up...sorry for the length buddy.

alabama has the talent to pull the upset, but not sure if it happens..... We are in turmoil with gottfried as everyone wants him out of here. Gee and Steele have been on fire saving his ass the last couple of games.

Appreciate reading your analysis ! You do lots of hard work and I hope it pays you well !!!
I am glad to see you got Bradley at +3 !!
I have seen both these teams play in person and I bet Ill ST on the money line -140 !!! This should be a hell of game. I beleive ISU wins a close game. I know ISU has not won their in a long long time, but I think they have better athletes. I hope we both win !!!
Good Luck tonight Bird !!

Purdue hasn't played since their upset loss at home to Illinois, they'll be ready to get back at it. On Penn State's side, they had to rally to beat Northwestern at home, lost to Temple at home, and the game is after bedtime in State College.
