Florida to win SEC (+1400) - 1 unit
Charlotte to win A-10 (+1300) - 0.5 units
Oklahoma State to win Big 12 (+2800) - 0.5 units
Washington to win Pac 10 (+5000) - 0.5 units
Boston College to win ACC (+7500) - 0.5 units
Duquesne to win A-10 (+3800) - 0.25 units
Charlotte to win A-10 (+1300) - 0.5 units
Oklahoma State to win Big 12 (+2800) - 0.5 units
Washington to win Pac 10 (+5000) - 0.5 units
Boston College to win ACC (+7500) - 0.5 units
Duquesne to win A-10 (+3800) - 0.25 units
Florida obviously needs to make a run to have some hope of getting a bid, and I like how this sets up for them. I think the Gators take care of Alabama, then give a Mississippi State team who should relax against them problems after the Bulldogs whipped them just a week or so ago. I think they're good enough to beat UK or Ole Miss in the semis, and then they set up for a solid hedge in the finals.
Charlotte has that one guy who can take over any game in Leemire Goldwire, and I like their road. They get a deflated URI team in the first round, and a UMass team who they hung with in Amherst in the semis. I think there's a great chance they make it to the semis at least here.
Oklahoma State probably won't win the Big 12 tournament, but I think they handle Texas Tech and can shock Texas in the 2nd round, who they have played tight twice this year. I think the Horns sleep on them due to the fact they have a very easy road to the Big 12 title game, and the Pokes pull the upset.
Washington has been playing fairly well, and if they beat California, face a UCLA team who they have already beaten this year and who has been walking on thin ice as of late. The Huskies have plenty of veterans and can be very dangerous, and is good enough to beat USC or Arizona State if they shock the Bruins again.
Boston College has sucked, but who would you rather have money on with their season on the line then Tyrese Rice? We've seen this guy take over games, and now he has a chance to be the cinderella story. They've already beaten Maryland this year, and I think Clemson can be vulnerable. Obviously a long shot, but I think they're good for a few upsets if no one shuts down Rice.
Duquesne has a nice road, as they play a very beatable La Salle team who they've taken down once this year, followed by a Temple squad they lost by 5 to a couple weeks back. Very deep and experienced team who can shoot anyone out of the building.
