I'm honestly not trying to be a dick.  I read the entire post thoroughly and nobody choose to challenge the Riccio14 initial post.  These forums are designed for healthy debates.  If all we do is sit here and agree with one others post we'll all be losers.  Lets work together and make some money.......

I had to hit the under after sharp money moved this line from 139.5 to 147.  Nothing against you guys.

JD.....nothing against you or your pick, I've won money on your other picks before so I don't want to seem spiteful in your thread....

I just see too much sloppy play and turnovers, Iowa with the full court press.....yeah, I'm set up for a polish middle but I sort of wrote off my original over bet.

Then there's the foul game to try to win it.

129 with a minute and a half 132 is a loser

It is very early in this season, and it is foolish to trust anyone who has seemingly good knowledge.  Riccio, next time you think you know something about matchups, look yourself in the mirror and think about why you think you know something.  From your writeup this morning, you were simply speculating that CMU coash will make his players play fast and they will score a lot of points.  You did not have any evidence of this.

Based on that I guess we really do not know what any team is going to do at the beginning of the season.  Maybe everyone should take a break and bet when we have all the evidence we need.

But yes - a easy argument could have been made for the under......especially after the line moved to 146-147

Central Michigan / Iowa Over 139.5 

Came up only 6 points short despite the horrendous offensive display in the first half. And ~71 possession as predicted. These are the type of angles I will continue to play this season and would play this over again if given the chance tomorrow.

Now time to sit back and enjoy 24 hours of hoops marathon

People who have read my posts for years, know that I always keep things positive, enjoy sharing information, and look to have constructive dialogue. But this post actually made me laugh out loud....congratulations, we have a frontrunner for post of the year and it's only night 4 of the season.

It is only day 4 of the season.  That is exactly my point.  Riccio relied on fast paced offensive style of CMU coach, but he did not know that such fast style could not be successfully carried out by his players, at least not yet against better defense than they faced before.  So Riccio opined about what he did not know.  What is wrong with telling people to be more careful when they post their opinion.  When jtoler said in the morning that CMU couldn't score, YACKER said jtoler's statement was a simple assertion or something like that.  It turns out jtoler was right.  YACKER should be more careful what he says because what goes around comes around.  He should be careful when he goes near a fire.

Dude riccio plays are always well researched, though out, and 6 out of 10 times or better usually winners. That means he will lose some. His reasoning for the picks came to light but poor shooting in the first half cost him a cover. His angle was strong and shared by many solid cappers on this site. You've posted 7 times on the site and for all I know you are a great capper but have you ever put a writeup on a game on the site? Or are you just gonna troll around and try to look smart after the fact? I do apologize about the fire statement but riccio is a class dude who brings a hell of a lot to this board.

I don't mean any ill will against anyone on this board or anywhere.  Researching in depth is good, but from my experience total in college basketball can be played easily without spending too much time.  No matter how much researching you do, you need certain amount of luck.  Many times I don't know anything about two teams playing against each other.  I don't read college basketball posts much, so I did not know about riccio.  Every board has respected posters, who always do homework and make reasoned arguments.  I will not post such ascerbic remarks any more.  I should have been more patient.  Good luck to all!

The play was on the BOL opening line. It's a $500 limit, and they will move the number on that amount.
