Not much time here is a brief capsule;
Old Dominion is once again being heavily backed,and once again I will wager against them at home.This is not your traditional version of the Runnin' Monarchs,as they are always driven by a dynamic point guard and usually have an athletic big at the 4 and 5 spot along with a 3 point speacialist at the 3 spot,plus decent depth.This year they have none of those things.They have just benched their senior point guard Brandon Johnson in favor of true freshman Darius James who appeared overwhelmed in his first start which was a home loss to UNCW.
GSU is 3-7 in CAA play but has lost those 7 games by a combined 29 points.Under first year coach Rod Barnes these Panthers just never quit.Meanwhile ODU has lost 3 of their last 4 home games straight up.
I will take overachieving Georgia State over the underachieving Monarchs plus 12 1/2 in this one.

I forgot to mention that Georgia State is 5-0 ATS in their last 5 road games.
