It was a tough one, didn't get bit on Lou but the Bruins and Zags burned me........got lucky late with Zona and Port 2nd 1/2 but none the less a losing night with buff losing their big lead and pushing, ucla losing late, and the zags falling short of the cover.....
You may have depleted your roll, but think of it this way....you had a good run, had a bad bad night and are still not paying out......it happens....you are right on with the management, take your own advice and you will be

Bet the same amount on EVERY game.. MONEY MANAGEMENT
Try to Limit plays to no more than 3 a day
Do your own research before making a wager
THINK of the possibility of a loss before you submit your bet
Never bet with your heart! Or on your own team! Especially on the NETS
I definately agree with your management and have been on both sides of the chase: "tomorrow is a brand new day"
but why 3 a day, are you just saying limit your plays?.....i would hate to think you would dismiss a good play just to keep your limit....what about a saturday vs. a tuesday where there are many more plays on sat...

My name is Bill and Im a degenerate. The only game I won last night was N.Dame and thats because I loved L'Ville so much and the game screamed trap. In the last 4 days, over half my L's have been by a bucket or less, not counting the ass fucking that was UCLa last nite. I am done taking road faves as well. That trend has been hitting like no other ncaa season. It all evens out or get closer to 50% eventually. Just like anyone that follows the NBA. Up until about 2-3 weeks ago, 75% of games were under. Now complete opposite. Home dogs from here on out.......and a few home faves. Mountaineers.ya hear me?!?!?!?!?

Kapono.......I was there with you last night, lost Illinois and UCLA. I figure Illinois was a lost, but the UCLA game was a back breaker. Went to bed last night feeling awful. We all blame the referencing last night and it was mariganal, but I remember one thing from playing days. Later let the officals determine the outcome of an event, and UCLA did that. We all suffer from that.
Go back to how you got on the run. Bet smartly and money management. Do not let the wagering Gods talk you into more than your limits. I see people on here wagering dimes and more, that is grear for them. When they hit, but the opposite end is a hard pill to swallow.
Today is a new day, you do not have play everyday. Bird say it best playing one game and game only. I went to that about a month ago it does help. But do not chase the rabbit, it is hard to catch.
BOL it will come back. Remember Blackjack, weather the storm and ride the wave.

I have to agree completely with nbafan88. Especially with the limit to 3 plays a day rule and the don't bet on your home team rule. Also I would have to say if you're a "tailer" ignore plays from people with 'Location: Pittsburgh' or Pittsburgh team avatars if their play is on... PITTSBURGH!!!
Also do YOUR own research. It is YOUR money
Also pay close attention to percentages and how much action a game is getting. If its through the roof, you'll either get lucky or get screwed over by the end of the night. A lot of people obviously fade teams with 70% of the action but that statistic is misleading. If you look further you will see that although one side appears to have 70% of the wagers, that is just the public opinion. When you take a look at percentages for the experts the ration is about 60-40 or less
Don't be fooled.
Be an asset and help eachother out when you can.
Manage your money. If you go big on one particular wager and hit, don't do it again on your next wager. Go back to small ball. And when baseball season starts, just ignore it
But since you're all degens, taking favs all season will equal
Thats all I'm going to say. I hope you get what I'm saying
I'm no expert I just learn from my mistakes and thought I'd share and contribute to the thread.

Had a really good day on wednsday cashing two decent sized bets and picking up a few hundred in the casino, well decided to get greedy and go for the good ole "knock out" punch on Louisville -3 to a ND team that probably wouldnt of beaten a good womans team the last few weeks, and UCLA -1 WOW looking for revenge against an AZ ST team that beat them at home, BBAAAD decision,,, now tonight NOVA +4.5 ARE YOU KIDDING??? Shit I woulda strongly considered them at - 4.5 ... TO BE CONTINUED

Good morning everyone, my name is KaponoFor3, and I am a degenerate
(hi KaponoFor3)
Last night I wiped out all of my profits from a recent 20-4 run because I am undisciplined and didn't practice bankroll management. I was one of the public that got slaughtered on Gonzaga, UCLA, and Louisville. Even Oregon State, down one at the half, couldn't cover 16.5 and they got blown out in the second half and lost by 19. I chased pretty significantly on the OSU (2H) +9 play.
I'm not out of the game, just hurting the morning after. Anyone else have the same experiences, even if it wasn't last night?
Lurkers -- this is why you need to maintain bankroll management and not look to go for the knockout punch or big score.
We did so good on UCLA last time, but not last night.. If I ever thought the fix was in? How about that lay up Collins to tie the game up late, going around that guy and getting called for charging . Give me a break. Anyway, had the 4 you play, plus started off with some golf head to head and when I woke up this a.m. I check to see how I did. 1-10-1. I have a wife that doesn't know anything about sports that could have done better. The good thing about gambling is yesterday is over and we can start another day fresh. GL

I got clobbered too but it happens. The only play I really regret was Louisville. UCLA and Gonzaga should have cashed IMO. I'm going to take it easy tonight or I might just take the night off to regroup and then come back strong Saturday.
