Spurs tanked an entire season on purpose to get Duncan when Robinson went down for the year.
I can easily see the Warriors doing to same and finding their own unique way to get Steph and Draymon off for the majority of the season as well...they could very well be the worst team in the league next year if the organization goes all in with tanking...only thing that may prevent this is the new lottery system for the bottom 3 and the odds being significantly worse than when the Spurs did it...still, if they want to extend the playing career of Steph, a season off isnt the craziest idea to have them all recover from the past 5 years of physcial and mental stress.

Can't see this happening at all, if Klay and KD stay then they will do anything to try to get a top 4 seed and get those two stars back for the playoffs. And even if KD leaves, I dont think they would want a top 5 pick that badly, their focus would still be on winning a ring...
