My own rambling thoughts: this is the time of the year where H2H stats take a backseat to motivation. doesnt guarantee anything, I dont give out "guarantees" anyways; but if you arent familiar with a clubs motivation --- be it for relegation, a title, or a european slot you can end up finding yourself on the wrong side of bad losses. (hint: this is the time of the year when those conspiracy theorists come out in full bloom complaining to never-end on how Team A could possibly lose to Team B)
starting with a Serie C which im tailing:
Serie C: (saturday)
Arzachena/Pistolese draw @+135
France Cup: basically, have PSG @+150 to hoist this trophy again as a big futures prop unfolded perfectly. so just going to let this ride.
Sandwiches: cant touch Tott @Whitehart.
Ajax/Utrecht this is on sunday, waiting for better line; but will be on Utrecht +2 if decent. just dont believe Ajax will care to run it up.
Barca/Levante+1100, +620, +1.5 @+130 - this has all the criteria for a throw-away game with Klopp & Co coming for a visit and an opponent fighting from relegation too
Serie A: 5 Rounds remaining, fav time of year with quite a few major futures about to be collected. so with the exception of one, going lightly.
on a side note: Inter, Torino, Roma, Atalanta: thats Juves upcoming schedule. thats also ALL 4 teams a butt-hair from one another whom are fighting for that coveted CL slot. and with the Scudetto in our pockets laughing hard.... and with my knowledge of Serie A, if you put a gun to thy head, NOTHING would satisfy the 'bigwigs' & Max more than putting a torpedo up Inter & Romas butts (trust me on that). this is the time of year where those 'IOU's" are collected..
Bologna/Empoli- a relegation dogfight between two clubs heading opposite directions. Bologna climbed out of relegation zone, one of the most in-form clubs in Serie A ever since Mihal took over. beaten just once is past 7 vs most of the bottom half of the table. and Empoli have a massive amount of missings to contend with, especially in the backline which doesnt bode well for a team whom has conceded the 2nd most on the road. love these prices and hoping to start the wknd off nicely. Bologna to win @-120

Roma/Cagliari - Darth Vader, at home, coming off a huge draw in San Siro last weekend to stay within a point of that CL slot. and with Torino hosting out-of-form Milan on sunday + Atalanta in a nasty spot they could find themselves in 4th. going up against one of the worst travelling sides in Serie A whom havent even scored here their past 4 visits. as much as I despise them, I really like this spot; might be closer than expected but cannot see them dropping points here. as long as Dzeko is starting I got to go with them. and getting out the mini-hammer for this one.
Roma -1 @-120
Inter/Juventus - derby d'Italia. doesnt matter when/where this is played. doesnt matter the table positions. doesnt matter whom is/isnt out there. we ALWAYS get 'up' for the Milano clubs. Inter can still catch Napoli for 2nd as Naples guys playing out the year (which would be nice as have a sweet payout if that happens). but more "importantly" one of thy biggest futures is about to be completed if Juve concedes 1 more goal. but I might have to wait a bit for that. clinched the Scudetto right? out of UCL right? everyone can start planning their summer vacations right? nope. Giorgio is back and Max sending out our full-strength side. Christian said he wants the Capp (aka goal scoring title), he's behind by 3, that might not be good news for the remaining defenses we play. reverse fixture was a 1-0 win, but Christian had quite a few decent chances; though Spalletti has a god-awful record vs Juve, Im not entirely sure if we are going to win this one but im a little suprised at the prices books are hanging on this, there SHOULD be juice attached, so I got to take a shot at what I believe is a mistake.
Ronaldo to score anytime @+130
Sunday:
Frosinone/Napoli - Frosinone blows. one more loss and they are officially relegated but Im tempted as h*ll to take them here (at least on the +HC). last week after their UEL loss to Arsenal I mentioned how suprised I was about Napoli. not so much as the loss but rather ..HOW. an un-Napoli-like roll-over-and-play-dead performance. and even went on in here mentioning something going on down in Naples internally which hadnt hit the newswires.
well.... it hit the newswires.
club said Insigne was "rested" last Monday (aka... benched). and earlier this week it was released that the moron of an owner DeLaurentis plans to sell Ignsigne off during the summer transfer session. and judging by their performance, along with Mondays absence, my educated guess is that he was told this prior to the Arsenal game.
when you call a Top EPL team '... "not a strong opponent"; and then THIS.... well sorry, though ive got Serie A pride but.... ur a bloody idiot.
Napoli have won just once in past 6 games. "safe" for the CL slot next year. no UCL, no Coppa, no Scudetto, no UEL; and now their best player and the 'face' of their organization the past 7 years is getting dangled out like a carrot. summer vacation couldnt come fast enough for them. facing a team fighting for their relegation lives? that 850 driving me nuts, but again..... Frosinone is bad.going to sit on this & wait for a buddy to send me the news because im not in Napolis locker room to see where their heads are at. and that line has been going the 'wrong' way (if it drops like a brick on Saturday, then.. you'll know)
the BTTS has hit in 8 straight Napoli matches and Frosinone HAVE to come out of that defensive shell and go for the pts.

Palermo to win @+150, Livorno/Palermo over 2.5 @+110
Germany: 4 Rounds remaining, hoping Hoffenheim can squeeze into that 4th slot somehow.
I seriously doubt Munich will drop any pts the rest of the way now that they are in the drivers seat; and since Dortmund gets to go first this wknd lets go with a rare parlay. too juiced for my liking so tossed PSG in there.
Dort + Munich + PSG @-128
Stuggart/Monch - was planning to take Stuggart as theyre trying to get out of the relegation zone. problem with this is they just got blown away last week 6-0, sacked their coach, winless in 6 straight (have won just once in past 16 matches); and have scored just one goal in over 400+ minutes. Gladbach fighting for the CL slot, enuff said right there. hate backing road favs this time of year; especially one whom is 'average' on their travels but at least getting '+' money on this.
Gladbach to win @+104
(poof! there goes writeups. not in mood/time to retype)

skoon a few months ago I remember a loyal supporter of Tott (Bollox) mentioned something about how intense of a rivalry it was with WHU (im almost positive this was the opponent) but i elected to bypass because of the CL placement for next year. rivals love nothing more than to put dents into their plans. Juve literally has 3 straight to keep themselves motivated.
in hindsight, which is always a beautiful, 100% accurate, thing (laughing) should have steered clear from Bunde yesterday.
hit the big one with Roma + that Serie C "pre-arrangement" and almost swept all the Italy plays so cant complain. first big future rolls in with a month to spare as Juve concedes 24. (cork popping). several others soon to follow.

**not quite sure what i was talking about yesterday (sandwiches); I DID get half of it right. Ajax DOES INDEED play Utrect on Sunday........ on May 12th.***
quickly here, not much time and no time for wtiteups. decided to stick with just the two plays in the early one (Fros/Nap). two very important matches going off later this evening in Serie A/B.
Bunde:
Hoff/Wolf over 1.5 @-110 (1st half)
Serie B:
Lecce/Brescia draw @+220
Serie A:
Sampdoria to win @+220
Torino/Milan - important match, tempted to make a play but just going to root for Torino to hopefully grab the 3 pts. Brescia getting closer & closer.

not the best of wknds with regular plays but im happy as a pig in mud with the results which unfolded, Torino & especially in Serie B (Brescia).

but i DID get the hockey on the '+' side, (laughing) pushes it to 9-8 but not getting many chances to get that angle in this year. all the "wrong" teams seem to be winning at the "wrong time" judging from someones reply last week, sounds like a rough going in playoffs this year. i dont know
