Tampa -1.5 +137 Get the feeling the Rockies are ready to get out of town? I do. Yarbrough the nasty lefty will pitch most of this game for Tampa. The offense should beat Bettis around enough for a comfortable RL cover.

A pair of good lefties get the start, but 15 of the 18 batters in the starting lineups are right handed. The splits say we'll see enough runs to cover this skinny number after 5.

Let's look for some regression to the mean tonite. Boston fans bring a loud vocal contingent to the Trop and although I may be a bit early, I think the Red Sox pick up a much needed win tonite. Win or lose, we'll bet them again tomorrow when Porcello brings his junk ball arsenal into a stadium which rewards it.

So were Bundy and Cashner...until they pitched in a pitcher's park like Tampa.
Of course The Trop is not actually in Tampa. It's in a run down urban section of St. Petersburg where you lock your doors instinctively on the last 2 miles to get there. It's a shame because Tampa is beautiful, and even St. Pete Beach is nice. But no, they had to build this dark monstrosity of a stadium in the one crime ridden vestige of an otherwise vibrant area. All in the name of urban renewal circa 1990.

How stupid is Ned Yost? Well last night he sent LH Lucas Duda up to pinch hit for Hunter Dozier against submarining left hander Adam Kolarek in the 8th inning. Kolarek's only job is to get out lefties and Yost knowingly sends DooDoo out there who expectedly struck out.
The game ML tonite is pricy, but I can get the Rays 1st 5 -0.5 @ (120) so that's what I'll do. I get TB's 2 best bullpen guys (Stanek and Beeks) against Uncle Homer Bailey. With the Royals falling off the rails of the train, I like it.
Other games to bet as you see fit:
Baltimore +130 because everyone will play the Chisox in a toss up game
Seattle +115 because the young Lithuanian has had 2 of his 4 starts against the Little League Giants and will finally face a team of hardball rakers.
LAA +100 Because the Yankee jet lag and fatigue settles in tonite.
These are all very good plays and you'd be wise to consider them even if you don't like me.

Hello friend. A number in parentheses represents a negative number. So in my little world, I base on a $100 bet. But rather than flat betting, I will pay the amount necessary to return $100 or more. So in this case it's 120(risk)/100(reward). When betting a dog, it's always risk 100 to earn whatever based on the plus money odds.
