I'm neither American nor conservative but this is what Leftists do in every country they gain influence in...attempt to erase whatever history they don't agree with and re-engineer the social landscape to make everyone at all times "equal". The songs are indeed offensive and unacceptable by today's standards and I understand why the Yankees and Flyers have done what they've done but this is not the end of it by a longshot. Eventually they will come for the statues of Lincoln and Washington I guarantee you that.

My son had a flight student from China who spent a few days with us. I asked him what the difference between the USA and China was on a social level. He said "In America everyone has a voice. In China we're still afraid to speak openly, but it's getting better. Some day we'll be as open as you."
I think it was Neal Peart who wrote, "Changes aren't permanent but change is."
We must let the next generation carry on.
