Have you watched these teams play? MSU is a nightmare matchup for LSU.
Let's see - LSU struggled vs Yale and was lucky to get by middle of the pack Big 10 Maryland. Tenn just got bounced by a lesser Big 10 squad in Purdue. Kentucky struggled vs Wofford, Miss State was bounced by Liberty in the first round.
MSU is 3rd in the country in defensive FG % while LSU checks in at 168. They also shoot the ball better coming in ranked 14th to LSU's 87th. Kenpom sees them 10 points better with superior off and def eff rankings and much better SOS.

Were there really lots on Colorado? Like I said in someone's thread about that game. "As a PAC-12 homer, i'm fading the PAC-12. If I lose, i'll be content knowing that I would fade them 10 times out of 10."

You might be on the right side but Buffer in love with LSU and that's enough for me. I'm on Sparty 1H.

Nightmare match-up for LSU? Were you high when you wrote that? LSU's depth is going to cause problems for Michigan State all game long, take that to the bank. LSU has size and legth, can rebound the ball with the best teams in the country, and are very physical. Im thinking LSU gets Michigan State in foul trouble and LSU ends up winning this game straight up. Also, LSU's defense has been significantly better over the last 12 games once they hit the meat of their schedule. The numbers from the previous games skew their overall season statistics defensively. LSU will pound the paint and create lots of turnovers for Michigan State.
+6.5 right now is a GIFT. LSU only lost 1 game by more than 6 points all season long (in Maui early on).
Have you even watched LSU play before? LSU was destroying both YALE and MARYLAND in the 1st half of the game. They are ranked in the 330's in youth/eperience, and so what happens is a natural letdown where they get sloppy and let off the gas. This has been the MO of this team all year long. Having big leads and getting complacent to make it a tight game. And what happens in tight games (Games decided by 2 possesions or less)??? They went 13-5 in those 18 games, wrap your head around that. They do it to themselves....other teams do not impose their will on this team. You have this all backwards bro. You dont know, but you will once tip-off comes.

Terrific analysis. Maybe posters should spend less time worrying about "bloodbaths" and how many people are on one side or the other and just cap the damn game like this guy did. Well done Johnny G!

I don't think there are many covers bloodbaths. I think most times the bros are pretty evenly split, which is a microcosm of what the oddmakers intend 99% of the time. When setting a number, oddsmakers very infrequently try to push the action totally to one side. They aren't gamblers. They take a little sure money over a big payday 99 times out of 100. That's why they always make money.
