The lowest-seeded team to go all the way and win the championship was the 1985 Villanova squad, a No. 8 seed.
The Wildcats beat top-seeded Georgetown that year in what is still considered one of the greatest upsets in March Madness history. The Hoyas entered the game favored by eight points but lost 66–64 to their Big East rivals.
Georgetown was led that season by Patrick Ewing, who was recently hired as the school’s newest head coach.
A total of three No. 11 seeds have ever advanced out of their region to the Final Four: LSU in 1986, George Mason in 2006 and VCU in 2011. All three lost in the semifinal game.
This Year WILL MOST DEFINITELY PRODUCE a "Wild Upset." - Believe me, I've been a NCAA Hoops "Specialist" this 2018-2019 Season and I see MANY games that are highly Unpredictable!
Who is your team who is a seven #7 seed or lower who CAN / WILL win it all??? I am looking forward to seeing the replies - Remember a # 7 seed or higher to qualify for the Contest!?!?

Not sure if they can win it all but Cincinnati as a #7 intrigues me. I think they are drawn well and could make a run to the final 4.

I think they can make a run too, as that region (outside of UVA) is pretty much up for grabs and I don't see a dominant 2nd best team. Tennessee has some talent for sure though, but they seem a little off sometimes.
If the Nevada/Florida winner can get past Michigan in the 2nd round they could make a run, although not really impressed with either of those teams for the most part.
Seton Hall is also playing well, but final four might be really tough as they'd have to get by Kentucky, IowaSt/Houston, then likely UNC.
So I'd have to go with Cincinnati as my answer too (now watch Iowa beat them! LOL)

I'm gonna say #7 Nevada, BUT ONLY IF JORDAN CAROLINE IS NOT INJURED AND PLAYING @ 100%.....
They have a rough road in Florida and then most likely Michigan, But if Jordan Caroline is NOT hurt, the Twins can carry this inspired talent-filled team. The they would meet Buffalo and Gonzaga....A rough road INDEED!! LOL
Everybody on ESPN Like Cal-Irvine AntEaters. I rode them down the stretch and through their tourny, but the competition in their division out West is Very Suspect!!
And for some reason, Syracuse ALWAYS seems to wake up for the Big Dance. At a #8 seed, they would have to beat the Zags in round 2, but we all saw (ESPECIALLY ME) what St. Mary's did to the ZAGS when their shots weren't dropping!

That's funny you said that about Iowa.....sometimes they look GREAT with BoHannon and the others, and often they look like they couldn't beat Kennesaw State !! Tough team to handicap correctly those Hawkeyes! LOL

My guess would be Nevada. In the last 11 yrs 10 of the national champion winners were in the top 20 for offense and defense efficiency. Nevada is one of 5 teams on this list (Zags, Duke, Mich St, and UVA) this yr. Obviously they would have to play the zags.
In the same span 91% of teams that have made the final 4 finished in the top 40 offensive and defensive efficiency OR were #1 in either D or O. They are, the 5 mentioned above and New Mex St, Murray St, Va Tech, Buffalo, Kentucky, UNC, Utah St, Liberty, Houston, and Texas Tech (#1 D and #71 O)
